Note : (1) Buying back the removed material from NFC is a mandatory. Also bidder has to arrange the carriage to contractor's place. (2) Glasses of window/ ventilator shutters also need to be bought back in this item (3) Contractor may visit the site for assessing the actual condition of the window/ ventilator

CEMENT CONCRETE of mix proportion 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) using Pozzolona Portland Cement conforming to IS 1489 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coramandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP), crushed sand and graded stone aggregates of 20 mm nominal size at and at all depths above and below plinth level including batching, mixing, placing, compacting, finishing, curing, etc., but excluding formwork complete as per Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

MASONARY WORKS

Brick work using flyash bricks of class designation 7.5 conforming to IS12894 using cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 using crushed stone sand conforming to BIS 2116) at all depths and heights below and above plinth level including pilasters, steel/ tubular scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc., complete as per specifications and as directed in super structure.

Half brick masonry using fly ash cement bricks as of 7.5 grade conforming to IS12894 in partition walls in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed sand conforming to BIS 2116 at all depths and heights below and above plinth level including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, etc., complete including providing stiffeners of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, 115 mm x 75 mm size at every 900 mm height, necessary formwork, curing, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed.

PLASTERING AND FINISHING WORKS

Cement plastering 15 mm thick for internal walls in cement mortar 1:4 finished smooth and at all heights above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surfaces including making necessary grooves in between junctions of brick masonry and RCC and also other places wherever required over brick walls or concrete surface, preparation of surface, structural grooves if necessary, steel/tubular scaffolding, curing, etc., complete as directed.

Cement plastering 20 mm thick in 2 coats over masonary and concrete surfaces upto a height of 10 mtr with base coat of 12 mm thickness in cement mortar 1:4 and finishing coat of 8mm thickness in cement mortar 1:3 (smooth finish), final rendering,double scaffolding wherever necessary, hacking of concrete surfaces, etc complete.

Providing, fabricating M.S. grills with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc., as per approved Design and fixing the grill to openings /wooden frames of windows/ ventilators with rawl plugs screws etc. including applying a coat of red oxide Zinc chromate primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of M/s. Asian paints or approved equivalent all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The Design of Grill shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge before fabrication

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position Powder coated aluminium extruded sections (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for Doors/ windows (sliding/movable)/ mesh windows/ ventilators/ top hung/ fixed/ grill/ adjustable louvered/ windows/ fixed partitions as per approved drawing with extruded sections of Jindal/ Indal/ Aluminax make or approved equivalent using sections with size and weights as shown in the drawing, for frames and shutters [including wastages if any] conforming to relevant I.S specifications with all approved Bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, locking arrangements, 2 / 3 rollers with ball bearings for sliding shutters of approved quality all as shown in the drawing, including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/ glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, filling the gaps between wall openings and aluminium frame with siliconate/ polysulphide sealant etc. all complete generally as per drawings, specifications etc., all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. but excluding the cost of glazing, which will be paid separately. NOTE: 1. Approval of the Dept. for the complete design and shop drawing shall be obtained before commencement of the work. 2. Item is inclusive of all kind of fittings required for windows.

Providing and fixing 4 mm thick plain float glass of make M/s Atul/ Modiguard/ Triveni/ Hindustan Pilkington or approved equivalent including PVC/EPDM lining as per the drawing and as directed for window shutters and ventilators.

Providing and fixing fly/mosquito proof stainless steel grade 304, mesh wire gauge with average width of aperature 1.4 mm in both directions with wire of dia. 0.50 mm including fixing with Aluminium door/window shutters or ventilators all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PAINTING WORKS

Providing and applying white cement based putty in two coats with average thickness not less than 1 mm, of Birla make or any other approved manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface (external/internal) to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. NOTE :-Rates are inclusive of Scaffolding upto 3.5 m height, Separate payment for scaffolding will be made in relevant item for heights more than 3.5m.

Painting with 3 coats of Acrylic emulsion paint (including primer) interior grade of Asian paints or approved equivalent quality of Berger/Nerolac makes of first quality and required shade over walls, ceilings etc., (interior paint) including scaffolding upto height of 3.5 m, removing whitewash/color wash/old paint, if any, by scrapping with scrubbing machine, sand papering, preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches, filling in crevices, holes and cracks etc., with approved filler etc., complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Rates are inclusive of Scaffolding upto 3.5m height, Separate payment for scaffolding will be made in relevant item for heights more than 3.5m.

Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint for exterior surfaces having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of approved shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives - APEX Ultima of M/s Asian paint or approved equivalent in Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm to get uniform shade over priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm. all as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge NOTE :- Rates are inclusive of Scaffolding upto 3.5m height, Separate payment for scaffolding will be made in relevant item for heights more than 3.5m.

Providing and filling cracks acrylic latex flexible crack filler compound "Dr. Fixit Crack-X" by M/s Pidilite or approved equivalent for filling plaster cracks in internal and external walls as per manufacturers specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all height inluding required scaffolding.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. NOTE: (i) The scaffolding will be paid for height works beyond 3.50m. (ii) Payment of scaffolding will be effective only if dismantling and erection of scaffoldiong is involved in operation (iii) All activities in each location including dismantling windows, fixing new window, plastering, painting etc would be covered in a single measurement
