Backfilling in all positions at all heights and depths and descents in foundations, pits, pipe trenches, tunnels, sewer lines, around foundations and structures, in plinth etc with approved excavated material, soil, soft disintegrated rock obtained within a lead of 50m including reclaiming from spoil heaps at all heights, or reclaiming from dump at all depths, transporting, depositing, watering, well ramming, compacting, spreading levelling and dressing complete all as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer in charge, all tools, plant, machineries, transportation and labour complete. Backfilling in layers not exceeding 200 mm thickness including dozing, levelling, dressing and compacting with hand compactors/mechanical compactors/plate compactors/vibro rollers to the density of 95% at optimum moisture content complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer in charge.
