The important information given under the technical capacity header related to prior work experience includes: * The Bidder should furnish the details of Eligible Experience for the last 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. * Experience for any activity relating to an Eligible Project shall not be claimed by two or more Members of the Joint Venture. * The Bidder shall quote experience in respect of a particular Eligible Project under any one category only. * For requirement of 2.2.2.2 (ii)& (iii), one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1and/or Category 3 individually by any of the JV members as a single work. * The Technical capacity in respect of an Eligible Project situated in a developed country which is a member of OECD shall be further multiplied by a factor of 0.5 (zero point five). * Categories and factors for evaluation of Technical Capacity are: - Category 1: Project in highways sector (factor: 1) - Category 2: Project in core sector (factor: 0.75) - Category 3: Construction in highways sector (factor: 1) - Category 4: Construction in core sector (factor: 0.75) * Maintenance works are not considered as eligible project for evaluation. * A table is provided to calculate the value of Civil Engineering Works in respect of EPC Projects undertaken by the Bidder during the last 5 years, which includes columns for: - Value of Civil Engg. Works undertaken w.r.t. EPC Projects including bonus, if any (Rs. in Crores) - Amount of bonus (Rs. in Crores) - Net Value excluding bonus (Rs. In Crores) * The Bidder shall have received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s) or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof is more than Rs. 692.63 crores. * At least one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost, i.e., Rs. 138.53 crore, shall have been completed. * A project shall be considered to be completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost. * Eligible projects include widening/reconstruction/up-gradation works on NH/SH/Expressway, MDRs, roads in Municipal corporation limits, construction of Bypasses, stand-alone bridges, ROBs, tunnels, and linear projects like airport runways, railways, metro rail, and ports. * The bidder shall mandatorily submit the work experience issued by Government Authority in support of completion of similar work. * For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 1 and 2, the entity claiming experience should have held a minimum of 26% equity during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed. * The capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. * The entity claiming experience shall have itself undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects. * For Categories 3 and 4, the Bidder should have received payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, fully or partially, or work executed and certified by the Engineer-in-charge/Independent Engineer/Authority’s Engineer during the 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. * Receipts of or work executed amount less than 5% of the Estimated Project Cost, i.e., 34.64 Crores (Rs. Thirty Four Crore Sixty Four lakhs only), shall not be reckoned as receipts for Eligible Projects.
