The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering works, specifically having executed civil engineering works in the last 10 financial years. The details of these works should be provided in Statement-I, along with supporting certificates. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of not less than 90% of the physical contract value in the last 10 financial years. The details of these similar works should be provided in Statement-II, along with supporting certificates. The quantities of work executed by the bidder in the last 10 financial years should also be provided in Statement-III, along with supporting certificates. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed or in progress in any one financial year during the last ten financial years. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% of the contract value. The amount of similar works completed is not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder's prior work experience is to be considered for the last ten financial years. The experience gained by the bidders by execution of private works & foreign works shall not be considered in determining the bidder's compliance to the qualification criteria. In case of Joint venture works, the experience gained to the extent of the bidder’s share shall be taken into account in determining the bidder’s compliance with the qualification criteria. The value of work done is to be shown work wise / year wise in respect of all the works executed / in progress by the bidder during last ten financial years. The bidder's bid capacity should be more or equal to the estimated contract value to be qualified for opening of the Price bid. The available bid capacity is calculated as (3 x A x N) – B, where A is the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed or in progress in any one financial year, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work, and B is the updated value of all existing commitments. No specific amount is mentioned as a requirement for the prior work experience, except that the similar works should be at least 90% of the contract value.
