Carrying out the daily job by deploying qualified & experienced workmen as below for operation and routine maintenance of pumps at drinking water pump houses at OHT 1 & 2, Sewage Pump Houses 1 & 2 to complete the task, on round the clock basis in three shifts (RTC Shifts), including assistance in operation of mechanical and electrical equipment and valves, maintaining/ control of flows and levels, routine check-up for Gland packing & it's replacements if required, greasing, checking & tightening nuts for all equipment at pump houses, operation and maintenance of equipments in and outside the all pump houses, cleaning the pipelines, cleaning of screen chambers/ inlet chambers etc. maintaining log sheet & log records and any other works allotted by the department supervisior during shift hours especially during repair of CI lines and GI lines etc., all complete as detailed below, as per specification and as directed by Engineer In-Charge.

Note: (i) Contractor shall operate the Over Head Tanks, Sewage Pump Houses on round the clock (RTC) shift for daily operation. Minimum manpower strength shall be maintained on RTC basis. In case of abscence of any manpower penalty shall be made in addition to the abscent 50% of the rate quoted by the contractor for that category will be deducted from RA Bills. (ii) Minor maintenance and house keeping jobs as stated above, including greasing, applying lubrications, replacement of gland packing, replacement of wornout minor spares like bolts, nuts & washers as and when required etc., (iii) Manpower for all minor maintenance activities shall be included in the unit rate. (iv) All other consumable required for day to day operation and routine maintenance all tools and tackles shall be in the scope of the contractor at their own cost. Contraactor shall be responsible for smooth operation of OHT-I, OHT-II & Sewage Pump Houses 1 & 2 and will report any deficiencies to the department as and when noticed without any delay. Contractor’s shift manpower will report to Engineer -In-Charge/ Departmental Supervisor. (v) Breakdown maintenance and other major maintenance activities are not coverd under the contractor scope and will be taken by the department.

By deploying Operator (Skilled) for the above work in 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts. Note: 1. Minimum qualification – ITI pass with Mech/ Elect/ Fitter and minimum 2years experience in similar field. 2. Each lot consists of eight hours duty.
