INSPECTION
ULTRASONIC THICKNESS MEASUREMENT OF PIPELINES/TANKS/PRESSURE VESSELS ETCAS DETAILED IN THE SCOPE OF WORK.

The scope of Work include following : ,,Ultra Sonic Testing of plates to be done in line with ASTM A 578 orIS 4225 (For plates thickness not falling under ASTM A 578). Steelplates to be tested will be complying to IS 2062 Grade E250 QualityB0/BR/C.
,,Inspection is to be carried out to ascertain the flaws,discontinuities, laminations etc. and thickness of the plates andsubmission of report including acceptability of plates for desired use.
,,Inspection is to be carried out by Third party Level II inspector(minimum). Job includes submission of procedure as per ASTM A 578 or IS4225 (For plates thickness not falling under ASTM A 578). In case ofambiguity grid size of 225 MM shall be followed for scanning. EntireSurface of the Steel plates to be scanned.
,,Job also includes shifting the plates from BPCL/ B AND R store yard, spreadingthe plates, co relating the plates in line with MTC, testing and reshifting the plates to BPCL store or work area as instructed by Site InCharge. Vendor to mobilize all tools, tackles, machineries, manpower,PPEs for job.
