LAYING OF PLB/HDPE PIPE 40-50mm dia COUPLED WITH SOCKETS in the excavated cable trench as per the standard practices including loading, unloading, uncoiling and transportation from BSNL designated stores to site of work (Pipes, sockets will be supplied by BSNL at stores at no cost. Length of pipe laid is measured for payment)

OFC BLOWING (OF Cable & Accessories to be supplied by BSNL) BLOWING OF OFC CABLE in cable trench as per the standard practices including the allied works like replacing/refixing couplers.Sealing of PLB ends and refilling sand, refixing RCC covers and back filling in Joint chambers whereever required as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. (The rate includes loading, unloading, uncolining and transportation of cables from BSNL designated stores to site of work. Length of cable is measured for payment). Length of cable drums normally 2Km/4Km

a) 24F to 96F

BORING,DRILLING & RCC WORKS

Boring at a depth of 1.65m using HDD method/Cutting Black Top or Concrete Road at Road Crossing etc including excavating entry and exit pits and pushing PLB Pipes upto 3 Nos maximum, reinstatement of road and other all operations involved as per directions of Engineer in charge. (Length of Bore/Length of reinstated road as the case may be is measured for payment)

Providing and Laying in position cement concrete of specified grade in cable trench for protection of PLB Pipe/GI Pipe/DWC Pipe at low depth areas, Bridges, at Culvert crossings etc for low depth protection as per the directions of Engineer in charge. 1:2:4 (1 Cement:2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stoneaggregate 20mm nominal size). { G I Pipe will be paid in separate item}

JOINTING CHAMBER

Providing and fixing RCC Joint protection chamber of 1.2M outer diameter with precast RCC rings/collars and RCC top & base covers as per standard design and drawing and filling sand as per directions of Engineer in charge with the following details. Chamber consists of precast RCC ring/collar of outer diameter 1.2M, 0.4M height and wall thickness of 50mm with concrete mix of 1:2:4 (1 Cement:2 Coarse sand(zone-III): 4 graded stoneaggregate 20mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design & drawing. ii) Base/Bottom plate is of precast RCC 1.2M dia 50mm thickness with mix of 1:2:4(1 Cement:2 Coarse sand(zone-III): 4 graded stoneaggregate 20mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design & drawing. iii) Top plates consist of 2nos semi circular plates each made of precast RCC cover 1.2M dia 50mm thickness with mix of 1:2:4(1 Cement:2 Coarse sand(zone-III): 4 graded stoneaggregate 20mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design & drawing.

ROUTE/JOINT INDICATOR

Providing and fixing precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement:2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stoneaggregate 20mm nominal size) Route/Joint Indicator with indicator dimensions (0.125m*0.125m*1.05m) & fixing in position in cement concrete(0.35*0.2*0.15), finishing smooth and painting and lettering etc, all as directed by the Engineer in charge (Each indicator is counted for payment)

OF Cable SPLICING/TERMINATION WORKS Splicing of all the fibers of OF Cable laid at every joint and making terminations at the ends per Joint including construction of Jt chamber
