Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 3.5 in foundations and plinth in.

Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. (Item is operated for Horizontal gantry)

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.(Item is operated for Horizontal gantry)

Labour charges for orienting and fixing assembly of 8 nos -32 mm dia anchor bolts in each of the 4 legs /pedastals of tower with the help of template, base plate and other base arrangements . A total of 32 numbers anchor bolts shall be oriented and fixed for each tower as per drawings of Genetic requirements No GR TWR- 12/01 June 2005. Rate includes cost of necessary scaffolding arrangement etc all complete as directed by the Engineer -in-charge

Making and supplying at site, anchor bolts for fixing base of tower, manufactured from EN 8 Steel and of 32mm dia mild steel bar of required length conforming to IS:2062, threaded at top upto 150mm length and welded with lugs made from 100x100x10mm thick mild steel plate at 50mm from bottom including suitable hexagonal nuts 2 nos. (Nuts & Checknuts) and MS spring washer etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Erection of 40 mtrs height Ground based structural Steel Tower as per approved Genetic requirements No.GR TWR-12/01 June 2005 with all its necessary components Viz climbing ladder, platforms with railing and fixing with bolts, nuts, plain and spring washers. Cost includes necessary welding and alteration of any mismatching holes to the members wherever required complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer -in-charge (NOTE: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire and labour charges of tolls, plants and machinerires all insurance, safety measures , offering and making necessary arrangements for acceptance testing, all incidental charges etc all complete ) Tower material shall be supplied by department at site at no cost. (Weight about 8.30 MT) Insurance document for labour deployed shall be submitted along with the bill, failing which recovery of Rs.10000/- will be deducted from the bill

Applying priming coat with one coat of ready mixed Red oxide Zinc Chromate primer or equivalent of approved brand for 40m tower (weight about 8.30MT)

Applying priming coat with one coat of Etch primer (BISON wash primer or equivalent) of approved brand for 40m tower (weight about 8.30MT).

Painting with High gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand to give an even shade for 40m tower (weight about 8.30MT). a) Two or more coats on new work.

Providing and fabrication to required sizes of Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in build up sections, trusses and framed work, consisting of Angles, Flats, Plates and tubes including galvanization, nuts & bolts per approved drawing. The galvanizing shall be as per IS: 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/sqm (approximately 85 micron). The steel sections shall be of M.S.grade 'A' as per IS: 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive. The payment shall be made as per the standard structural steel tables for the bare steel sectional weights. All complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Item is operated for any missing tower members including nuts and bolts of grade 5.6 with plain & spring washer as per the drawing& directions of Engineer in charge )

Extra for galvanising (of thickness not less than 120 microns) on M.S angles , flats, gussets plates, bolts, nuts and other fasteners etc., complete as per directions of Engineer in charge.
