Bid Capacity
The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the formula:

2. Adjustment for cement component:

3. Adjustment for steel component:
Vs = 0.85 x Ps/100 x R x (Si - So)/So

- Lo = Average consumer price index for industrial workers for Trichy center for the quarter preceding the date of opening of Bids/Date of agreement
- Li = Average consumer price index for industrial workers for Trichy center for the quarter under consideration
- Pi = Percentage of Labour component of the work
- Co = All India average wholesale price index for cement for the quarter preceding the date of opening of Bids/Date of agreement
- Ci = All India average wholesale price index for cement for the quarter under consideration
- Pc = Percentage of cement component of the work
- So = All India average wholesale price index for steel (Bars and Rods) for the quarter preceding the date of opening of Bids/Date of agreement
- Si = All India average wholesale price index for steel (Bars and Rods) for the quarter under consideration
- Ps = Percentage of steel component of the work
Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
- Project Manager: Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in executing similar works.
- Site Engineers:
a) 2 Nos. (Two numbers) with Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience.
b) 2 Nos. (Two numbers) with Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience.
The value of similar works completed should be at least Rs.153.00 Lakhs under a single agreement in any one of the preceding five years. The bidder should have completed at least one similar nature of work, such as Check dam, Bed dam, Anicut, Regulator, and Tail end Regulator of any irrigation structures.
The value of similar works completed should be at least 50% of the work value.
Additionally, the bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of works, including:
- Earth Work: 8690.50 M3
- Cement Concrete: 849.00 M3
- Fabrication of Steel: 219.00 Qtl
- Steel Centering: 1797.00 M2
The annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs.420.00 Lakhs per year in any one of the preceding 5 years at the 2024-2025 price level.
