Collection of sea water samples in a single day at two levels (at surface level and near to sea bed depth (-) 13.00 m ) and collection of sediment at sea bed at four locations in all viz., Approach channel in front of berth 3 and Berth 4 infront of Berth 5 and Berth 6 and in front of coal jetty-I and oil jetty on a monthly basis and testing, evaluating the constituent levels of physic chemical and biological parameters according to the relevant Indian Standards and as prescribed by Ministry of Environment and Forest as per general condition enclosed and submission of monthly report in the abstract form and annual report in consolidated form in statistical format as per general conditions etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.A survey boat will be provided by Port on payment of Rs.2367.53/- per hour (subject to revision) for collection of samples.

Collection of air samples and monitoring of Ambient Air Quality (AAQ) at selected eleven locations in harbour and colony area on monthly basis at regular interval to measure concentration in Ambient Air by using the methods of measurement prescribed in the MoEF Notification dated 16th November, 2009 of (1)Sulphur Di-oxide (SO2) (2)Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), (3) Particulate matter (Size less than 10 μg) or PM 10 μg/m3 (4) Particulate matter (Size less than 2.5 μg/m3) or PM2.5 μg/m3 (5) Ozone (O3) μg/m3 (6) lead (pb) μg/m3 (7) Carbon monoxide as CO ug/m3 (8) Ammonia NH3 μg/m3 (9) Benzene (C6H6) μg/m3 (10) Pyrene (BaP)-Particulate phase only μg/m3 (11) Arsenic (AS) μg/m3 (12) Nickel (ni) μg/m3 (13) Carbon Di-oxide (CO2) (14) Hydrogen Sulphide μg/m3 (15) Heavymetal (Cd) and (16) Arsenic as H2S and submission of monthly report in the abstract form and annual report in consolidated form in statistical format as per general conditions etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers. Electric power supply will be arranged at free of cost,complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Monitoring of oil water separator tanks 2 Nos. provided in the Additional Berth workshop and auto workshop on a monthly basis (once in a month) at regular interval by testing the parameters of oil and grease contents in the water and submission of monthly report in the abstract form and annual report in consolidated form in statistical format as per general conditions etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.
