The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the value of the contract. For contracts valued between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakhs, there is no specific prior work experience mentioned, but the bidder should have a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering or not less than one retired Junior Engineer. For contracts valued between Rs.5 lakhs to Rs.10 lakhs, the bidder should have a B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer (Assistant Executive Engineer) or one diploma holder with three years experience. For contracts valued between Rs.10 lakhs to Rs.25 lakhs, the bidder should have a B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience in Civil Engineering works or not less than one retired sub-divisional Officer plus one diploma holder in Civil Engineering with three and five years experience respectively. For contracts valued between Rs.25 lakhs to Rs.50 lakhs, the bidder should have a B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer or (Retired Assistant Executive Engineer) plus two diploma holders in Civil Engineering or two retired Junior Engineers. Alternatively, the bidder can have one B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer and one more B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder. For contracts valued above Rs.50 lakhs, the bidder should have three B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holders with three years experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer and two more B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holders. The bidder should have completed similar work with a value of Rs. 127.50 Lakhs in a single contract during the past five years. The annual financial turnover should be at least 150% of the tender value, which is Rs. 382.50 Lakhs. The bidder should also have liquid assets of not less than 20% of the tender value, which is Rs. 51.00 Lakhs. A retention amount of 5% of every RA Bill is to be withheld.
