The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the value of the contract. For contracts valued above Rs.1 Lakh and up to Rs.3 Lakhs, the bidder should have one Diploma Holder in Engineering or a retired Supervisor from Govt. Service or Autonomous Body. For contracts valued above Rs.3 Lakh and up to Rs.10 Lakhs, the bidder should have one B.E. or an Equivalent Degree Holder in Engineering with one year experience or a retired Engineer from Govt. Service or Autonomous Body not below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer. For contracts valued above Rs.10 Lakh and up to Rs.50 Lakhs, the bidder should have one B.E. or an equivalent Degree Holder in Engineering with 3 years experience or a retired Engineer from Govt. Service or Autonomous Body not below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer Plus One Diploma Holder in Engineering or retired Supervisor from Govt. Service or Autonomous Body. For contracts valued above Rs.50 Lakhs, the bidder should have one B.E. or Equivalent Degree Holder with 3 years experience plus 3 Diploma Holders in Engineering with 3 years experience. The bidder should have experience of satisfactory Supply and erection of steel and allied SS erection works for at least 1 No. 110kV or higher voltage rating Substation or 2 Nos. 110kV or higher voltage rating Bay extension works in full shape to State Electricity utilities/Transmission utilities / Central Power utilities in India in the past ten years. The annual turnover of the bidder during any one of the last 3 financial years should be more than Rs.55.87 Lakhs, which is 25% of the value of the contract. No specific information is available on the percentage of similar works completed. However, the bidder is required to furnish details of similar works executed by them for the past 10 years as on the date of tenders.
