HT Cubicles: A) Charges for dismantling the shutter lifting mechanism and breaker locking mechanism from the cubicle checking the condition of the lifting mechanism actuating plates, removing the bends in the actuating plate if necessary, replacing the worn out bearing provided in the shutter arrangements, removing the fiber shutters from the vertical guide rods cleaning the carbon dust deposited over the shutters with molykote and painting the shutter, cleaning the vertical guide rods (2nos) removing the coal dust deposited over the rod with N. C thinner and assembling the shutter in the original place of the vertical guide rod, applying new grease for the movement of the shutter and lifting mechanism, similarly correcting the bend in the locking mechanism and cleaning the dust deposited with use of N.C thinner, after completion of all above said works proper alignment checking the conditions by placing in to service position. B) Disconnecting the multi pin socket wires and removing the multi pin socket assembly cleaning the plug insertion hole, socket, TB’s positioning and assembling in the original position, connecting the removed wires of multi pin in the respective terminals, disconnecting the service position and test position limit switch wires, releasing the limit switches from its position servicing the limit actuation striker (roller rod) with molykote wires in the respective terminals of limit switch, checking the conditions. C) Complete disconnecting the wire in the TB’s about (64nos) and in auxiliary relays like 52 A, 52B, 33S, 33T, 94 (Antidumping relay), 74 Trip supervision relay, 86 (Motor protection relay), Ammeters 3nos, current transformers-3nos, Breaker control switch (52LCS), control fuse holders 12nos, MC 1no, Main DC ON/OFF DPDT slector switch on No. indicating lamp holders 5nos control reay (contact multiplier)-2nos, and local /remote selector switch, servicing all the spares released from the cubicle (i.e) removing rust formed over the terminals with N.C thinner cleaning the relay complete, assembling all the removed relays, TB’s and indicating lamp holders in its position and again re-termination of the released wires with respective positioning, if necessary replacing the spare (to be supplied by board) and dressing the wires in the true, then after completion of all the above works checking the conditions to the satisfaction of field Engineer in charge including cost of consumables, hire charges for T&Ps etc., complete.
