The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar road construction works with a value of at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender in a single contract within the last three years period. The bidder should have completed works as a prime contractor or sub-contractor, with a total value of at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender. Additionally, the bidder should have completed building work with a value not less than Rs.300.00 lakhs under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years in Government or Quasi Government Organizations only. The bidder should also have completed similar building works costing more than Rs.173.00 Lakhs under a single agreement in the preceding three years. The annual financial turnover of the applicant in each of the preceding three years should be more than Rs.300.00 Lakhs, and the minimum cumulative financial turnover in the past three financial years should not be less than Rs.900.00 Lakhs. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in some cases, but the bidder should have working capital available to finance one month of current activity. The outstanding value of committed works means the total value of each project under execution minus the value of work completed as on the date of submission of qualification schedule. The bidder should provide certificates from the competent authority for the completed works, and details of current works in progress, including the value of current outstanding payables, and details of works for which bids have already been submitted, along with their values.
