The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar road works costing more than Rs.33.50 lakhs under a single agreement in the preceding three years. The bidder needs to provide details of such works, including the type and nature of work, location, employer, value of work, agreement number, and stipulated period of contract. The bidder should have completed road construction works of similar nature and magnitude, with a value of at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender in a single contract within the last three years period. The value of the work put to tender is Rs.3,92,00,000/-, so the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of this amount, which is Rs.1,96,00,000/-. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one road work of similar nature with a value of not less than Rs.196.00 Lakhs under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of more than Rs.196.00 Lakhs in any one of the preceding three years, and a minimum cumulative financial turnover of not less than Rs.588.00 Lakhs from civil engineering constructions in the last three years. In terms of penalty for delay, the bidder will be liable for a penalty of 1% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the work is delayed beyond 60 days, 2% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the work is delayed beyond 120 days, and 3% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the work is delayed beyond 180 days. If the delay is more than 30 days beyond six months, the bidder will be liable for a penalty of 5% of the value of the defaulted quantity.
