Making, supplying and installation of Full size Bronze Statue in standing position made up of having an average height as approved posture to be standing on a pedestal including Scale measurement drawing & Sculpting armature making, Clay modeling, Mould in POP, Model transfer to wax, making sand mould (wax core), De-waxing & Bronze casting of model, grinding, welding, chiseling, finishing with PU gold coating, Transportation and erection on pedestal at site etc., complete complying with standard specification.The process of the making of the statue in bronze consists of five steps.
Step – 1: Model Making: The posture of statues should be made with clay of as approved posture by the departmental officers.

Step -2 : Mould making : After the clay model, next stage shall be mould making of the approved statues by using Plaster of Paris. The Plaster of Paris model is the important model to give correct anatomy structure. From the POP model, Fiber model shall be created and one more outer Plaster of Paris mould shall be created with Fiber model to make part of the mould of the statues in wax. Wax casting of the part shall be created for all parts of the one by one separately. After wax casting, the finishing of the statues shall be checked once again with proper care and as per directions before ready for casting.

The wax mould shall be made into core with running hole. The core mould shall be created with clay, sand and Plaster of Paris with supporting iron rods and binding wires. All the parts of the wax mould shall be made as above before casting. Step 3 : Casting : The core mould should be placed in a balanced manner properly to remove the wax from the core while casting. The core mould shall be put into a big pit and covered with a lot of fire wood and fired. The core mould shall be heated slowly, then the wax comes through the running holes. After removing the wax, the core mould should be put up side down and heated to a maximum of 1000° centigrade and at the same time separately the metal mixture of five metals shall be put in crushable in a fire chimney and heated to a more than 1000° centigrade fire by coal, melted to a liquid state and shall be safely poured into a core mould with same temperature. After some time, when the core mould becomes touchable condition, the upper core shall be removed to get a rough surface of the parts of statues.

Step 4 : Scraping, Filing and finishing work : The rough surface of the parts statues shall be scraping, filing and many curing process and thus finished parts statues should be manufactured. Then all the parts of statues shall be welded one by one and finally, the full shape of the statue shall be obtained as per the requirements.
Step 5 : Polishing and fixing : The finished model of the approved statues shall be polished as required and as directed. Then the finished statues shall be conveyed including loading to the site with proper care, unloading and fixing in position i.e. on the pedestal in Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar Memorial site as directed by the department officers. All the process of making, finishing, and fixing of statues should be done as directed by the departmental officers and got approved by the Executive Engineer before the process commencing.
