The required prior work experience for the bidder includes submitting details of experience and past performance on works/jobs done of similar nature in the past. Bidders who have successfully executed development orders for 'hiring trailers' will be considered as a proven source for providing services. For start-up bidders, having executed any number of contracts for 'providing trailers' or 'providing Light Vehicles' to any state government, central government, public sector undertaking, or reputed limited company of any duration in the last five years will be considered as meeting the experience criteria. The bidder should have executed at least one contract of minimum 12 months duration or have provided continuous services of providing the services of any Light Vehicles for at least 12 months duration in the last 5 years. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, it is stated that services rendered for overlapping period will be considered only once. In case of incorporated Indian Joint Venture Company, the Joint Venture Company by itself should meet the experience criteria, or the Joint Venture Partner having a stake of at least 26% in the Joint Venture Company should meet the technical experience criteria stipulated in the tender on its own.
