The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor in similar works, such as highways and airfields. The bidder should have experience in using heavy earthmoving equipment and quality control equipment for road work and bridge work. They should also have experience in mechanized granular pavement construction, construction of asphaltic overlays, and construction of bridge works, including bridge works in open foundations. The bidder should have completed similar works with certain values and percentages. Specifically, they should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the value of the contract over the last five years. They should have also successfully completed at least one contract of similar nature with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract in any one year within the last five years. The experience in similar nature of work should include the following quantities of works completed in any one year during the last five years: (a) Earthwork: 2893.64 m3, (b) GSB/WMM: 3617.52 m3, (c) BM/DBM: 535.00 m3, (d) BC/SDBC (Wearing Course): 321.00 m3, (e) VCC/VRCC: 179.25 m3, (f) Steel: 4.80 Mt. The bidder should have completed at least 10% of the work within the first month, 60% of the work within the first two months, and 100% of the work within the last month of the contract period. The bid capacity to execute the work should be greater than Rs. 233.49 Lakhs, and the bidder should have access to liquid assets or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the contract value, which is Rs. 23.35 Lakhs.
