The required prior work experience for the bidder is at least five years in the Civil Engineering construction field. The bidder should not have abandoned any work of similar nature and magnitude in the last five years, and any contracts awarded to the bidder should not have been terminated or rescinded due to breach of contract on the bidder's part during the last five years. The bidder should have completed civil works, such as BT road or building, with a value of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/Board/Government Undertaking. Additionally, the bidder should have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 100% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding three years. The bidder should also have working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the value put to tender.
