Barricading work (Where the lines are in narrow width of municipality area, busy streets like Market, Bus-stand and in the Highways etc.) for laying of pipe line using casurina poles at 1.50m center to center (8cm to 10cm dia. and 1.80m height) vertical with horizontal poles in two rows, painting the vertical poles in the road facing sides with ready mix paint, tying the vertical and horizontal poles with coir rope including supplying, delivery and fixing of GI sheet (0.90m x 0.8mm thick) in the horizontal poles and fixing 75mm dia. reflectors including earth work excavation for fixing vertical posts and finally removing and stacking the materials safely for further use etc., complete and as directed by TWAD Board officers.(Pg.No-210)

Providing Encasing concrete for encasing sewer pipes wherever required as directed by the Engineer in charge in Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 ( One sulphate resistant portland cement, three river sand : six blue granite metal) using 20mm and below ISS HBG, including shuttering, compacting, curing and watering etc.(0-1.5m below GL)

Construction of RCC Manholes of different depths as per type design/drawing along sewer lines and provided with tight fitting FRC manhole frames and covers of 600 mm dia., of approved make and quality including supply and fixing of encapsulated PVC foot steps. The manhole shall be of RCC M 30 concrete and plastered with CM 1:3(One sulphate resistant portland cement and three sand ), 20mm thick inside and as per type design with foundation concrete 150mm thick in CM 1:4:5(One sulphate resistant portland cement four sand fice agreegate ) ,using 40mm HBG. Benching and channeling should be provided in the manhole and suitable diameter pipes for House service connection (Not exceeding 6 Nos. for each manhole) to be left in the Manholes as directed by the Engineer in-charge. The rate shall include earthwork, backfilling, and removal of surplus earth and depositing within 500m, barricading, provision of danger lights etc.
