The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed BT or CC Road Work(s) of not less than 100% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/Board/Government Undertaking. Additionally, the bidder should have completed BT (or) BT and CC Road Work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding three years. The bidder should also have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 100% of the estimate amount in a financial year in the preceding three years. The bidder should have working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the estimate amount. For technical personnel, a B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder with 5 years experience (or) not less than two retired Sub Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Divisional Engineer) is required. For another designation, Diploma holders in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience (or) Four Retired Junior Engineers are required. In terms of similar works completed, the bidder should have completed at least one-third of the value of work by the end of the first month, and the entire work should be completed by the end of the fifth month. Liquidated damages of 0.1% of the unfinished value of work will be levied per day if the bidder fails to meet the deadlines. A retention money of 5% of the value of each bill will be retained, out of which 2.5% will be released after the issue of the completion certificate, and the remaining 2.5% will be retained during the defect liability period.
