The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, the bidder should have a performance record for the last 5 years for the work carried out in Railways/Central/State/Semi Govt. Organisations/Authorities, PSUs, Govt. of India Undertakings. The value of similar works completed shall be considered based on the overall cost including the PVC amount (if paid) of the completed work or substantially completed work. A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The bidder should also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. The average annual contractual turnover should be equal to or more than V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The Security Deposit is 5% of the contract value. The bidder is required to submit work experience certificates, details of works executed similar to the tendered work, and details of work carried out during the last three financial years and in the current financial year.
