Clearing blockage in storm water drain, mouth outlets, road side berm rain water pipes, cutting and removing of fallen trees etc., during the monsoon period, cyclone time and rainy days and all other essential miscellaneous works etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) Contractor has to engage a minimum of 2 number of male coolies in each shift every day during the monsoon period, rainy days & cyclone period including holidays (Timing of shifts – General shift 9:00 hours – 17:30 hours ; 1st shift 6:00 hours to 14:00 hours ; 2nd shift 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours ; 3rd shift 22:00 hours to 6:00 hours). If any short fall found during the contract period he will be penalised at the rate of 1.0 unit/Male coolie/shift shall be deducted from the RA bills. 2) Providing all PPE like Raincoat, Gumboot, PVC Hand Gloves to the workers including necessary vehicle arrangements. 3) Providing hand torches to the workers during night time.
