Supply and fabrication of pre-insulated chilled water pipes with HDPE and Aluminium Cladding: Supply, fabrication, testing and commissioning of factory made pre-insulated chilled water pipelines consisting of MS carrier pipes, PUF insulation and HDPE/Aluminum outer jacket as per specification and drawing. The carrier pipe shall be of MS ERW conforming to IS 3589 (Grade Fe330) supplied in 6m ± 100 mm standard length only. All pipes shall be brand new, flawless and free from any rust, corrosion and deterioration. The insulation shall be applied by injecting the polyurethane foam into the annulus between carrier pipe and HDPE/ pre-extruded aluminum outer jacket pipe in accordance to ASTM C 591 or by spraying the foam directly onto the pipe and extruding the jacket directly on top of the foam in accordance to ASTM C 1029 type III. The insulation shall have minimum core density of 42 kg/m3, 90% minimum closed cell content, minimum compressive strength of 310 kPa and maximum thermal conductivity of 0.03 W/mK at 24°C. Site fabrication of MS pipes includes edge preparation, fit-up, welding (root pass -TIG & final pass-arc) and testing. The testing includes 100% DPT on both root and final weld, hydro test at every 100 m length at 10 kg/sq.m. after final completion. For HDPE cladding the outer jacket pipe shall be black,UV resistant High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) conforming to IS-4984:1995 (amendment No.2 October 2000). The wall thickness of HDPE jacket for injection process shall be as per material grade PE63, Table3, PN2.5 pressure rating and the wall thickness of HDPE clad for spray insulation shall be minimum 6mm for all sizes. For Aluminium cladding the outer jacket shall be formed from 22 G aluminum sheet conforming to IS 277

Pre-insulated pipe of 450 NB dia, 10.0 mm wall thickness MS carrier pipe (Grade Fe 330 as per IS 3589) with 75 mm thick PUF insulation and 630 mm OD HDPE pipe as outer jacket of 19.1 mm wall thickness (as per IS 4984).
