Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item.
Note:
1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility.
2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.
3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

Contractor has to engage a minimum of 1 No. of ISI Certified Pump Mechanic in General shift apart from that 2 Nos. of operators in each shift every day throughout the Work order completion period including holidays (Timing of shifts - General shift 9:00 hours - 17:30 hours ) if any short fall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 08.00 units/Pump Mechanic / day ( in this Item )be deducted from the RA bills.

Recording the pressure gauge readings in different locations of IGCAR along the fire water system lines including inspecting all the hydrant points and gauges and maintaining the records. Cleaning the area of the fire water system pump house, stores, electrical panel room, approach roads etc by removing unwanted leaves, waste materials and Checking of priming of centrifugal pump viz Fire water pumps, Jackey pumps, diesel pumps etc including operating priming water systems and conforming that the above said pumps are holding priming and delivering water to the Fire water system in each and every shifts in a day etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
It is also ascertained that the all the above said pumps are in working condition by operating every above said pumps in a days including cost of labours etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.The person engaged in Fire water system pump house should stay in the pump house and record the readings of the sump level and operation pumps and recording of pressure gauges readings located in the pump house at fire water system pump house etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Note:
Contractor has to engage 2 Nos. of operators in each shift every day throughout the year including holidays (Timing of shifts - hours ;1st shift 6:00 hours to 14:00 hours ;2nd shift 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours; 3rd shift 22:00 hours to 6:00 hours ) if any short fall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 15.00 units /operator/ shift shall be deducted from the RA bills. The contractor has to arrange minimum 4 Nos of bicycles for taking reading and visual inspection of all hydrant and other related works at his own inside the IGCAR campus.

Water supply line Burst/Breakage: Attending the following works, earthwork excavation to ascertain the type of leak including extra length and width of excavation required as per site condition to facilitate removal of damaged / broken pipes, specials and its rectification, dewatering, removing the slush from the trenches, conveying of the earth and slush away from the trenches to prevent over burden for the trench, conveyance of pipes, specials and other accessories, de-water pumps, suction and delivery lines to the work site from the section stores and installation of de-water pumps and suction delivery lines etc., cutting the burst / broken pipes and removing the pipes from the mains and re-installing the new pipes, jointing and testing the pipeline and re-filling the excavated trenches in to the original condition etc.,all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
