Supplying and providing the CERA MEC STRIP SEAL upto 250mm width Expansion joint strip treatment for Roof slab/vertical wall area including chipping & surface preparation, applying CERA MEC SS ADHESIVE over the roof slab expansion joint to a minimum width of 50mm and aligning to the required line, overlapping of minimum 100mm of strip longitudinally with suitable rubber adhesive, carefully removing of air pockets & wrinkles as specification including providing with approved quality of polyethylene or high quality foam backer rods with approved sealant, including treatment with admixed with CERA LATES SBR @ 1kg per 50kg (1 bag) of cement at all joints, including all as specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The area shall be tested for any leakage by ponding water in panels. Incase of any leaks found grouting shall be done with contractor's own cost.

Providing and constructing Haunching of size 100mm X 100mm (100mm in wall & 100mm in roof) using CM 1:3:1 at junction using 6mm down graded chips admixed with CERA LATEX SBR @ 1kg per 50kg (1 bag) of cement as specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge in roof joints, terrace corners, gutter junctions, expansion joint area etc.,

Providing water proofing treatment to the RCC cast insitu terrace and gutters using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ 4mm thick as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) The existing tarfelt, bituminous primer, WP Tiles and foam concrete, waterproofing membranes & cement based water proofing treatment and all types of water proofing treatment shall be removed completely by cutting and peeling off from the surface and disposing the same 50m beyond the building area. b)" V" grooves shall be cut along the surface crack and the same shall be filled with cementitious non shrink grout CERA GROUT 40 of CERA / FOSROC / SIKA or equivalent after applying a lavish coat of polymer based bonding agent CERA LATEX SBR of CERA / FOSROC / SIKA. c) "V" grooves shall be cut along the construction joints on wall - slab joints and filled with cement sand mortar admixed with styrene butadian rubber based additive CERA LATEX SBR from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA or equivalent. d) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding of water (water holding test) before and after application of treatment in panels. (panels shall be made by least ratio of cement mortar and the same shall be thoroughly cleaned before receiving further treatment). e) When the entire surface is water-tight, dry and moisture free, one coat of bituminous primer shall be applied over surface @ 0.3 kg/sq.m and 1st layer of 5 - layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane WP SHIELD P4180 from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA shall be laid with 200mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation. f) The second layer of 5 - layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane WP SHIELD - SLATED from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA shall be laid with 150mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. Note: i) The treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of water proofing treatment. Suggested vendors : (1) M/s. Cera-Chem Pvt. Ltd., Chemicals (2) M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. Chemicals ii) Ten years guarantee shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed form of the department for the above water proofing treatment work.

Providing and fixing of water proofing treatment using APP membrane in 2 layers using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ 4mm thick at highbay area, roof slab top, expansion joint covering, gutter and over the screed concrete area etc., all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: I) Cleaning of existing surface is clean, dry and moisture free and application of one coat of bituminous primer over surface @ 0.3kg/sq.m. and 1st layer of 5-layered 4mm thick polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD P4180' shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torching on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation. II) The second layer of 5-layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD – SLATED’ shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. III) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding of water (water holding test) before and after application of treatment in panels. Providing repair work to the cracks in joints between plastered wall to column/beam junctions at all locations and at all elevations upto 20 to 30mm deep, upto 200mm wide including preparing the surface, providing and filling the block work beam joints with special cementitious light-weight mortar CERA SEAL CCCP / FOSROC / NITO BOND SBR / SIKA or equivalent, providing and applying 20mm thick polymer modified' mortar by mechanically over a coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalent and cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’s, fuel & transport etc. all complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per the specifications. a) Surface preparation: Chipping and removing the existing plastered wall surfaces to the required depth and surface preparation such as removing the loose materials, dust and other laitance with wire brush and coir brush, etc. complete. b) Joint treatment: Grooves shall be cut along the construction joints on block work/brick work - beam / column joints and the gap shall be treated with (1) SBR Bonding coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalent and (2) filled the gap with special cementitious light-weight mortar CERA SEAL CCCP / FOSROC /SIKA or equivalent. c) Bonding coat on surface: Providing and applying a coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface prior to applying of polymer modified mortar. d) Polymer modified mortar : Applying polymer modified mortar 1:2:2 (1 cement : 2 sand: 2 stone Aggregate of nominal size 6mm) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / FOSROC/ NITO BOND SBR / SIKA additive or equivalent @ 3 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 20mm by mechanically or manually and neatly finished as instructed over the prepared surface / over the fiber glass mesh fixed surface. Note: 1) Scaffolding will be paid in separately in the relevant item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all heights made using 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced at 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., including maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved, removing after completion of repair works, the scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building etc., wherever required for essential safety features for the workmen etc., all complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 2) The buildings are of Ground+2 storied structure and the contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) - 1987. (Safety Code for scaffolds). 3) All working platform must be of minimum 600 mm wide, made of M.S pipe and must have guard rails as per specification. 4) Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the repair work is in progress. 5) To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level over head protection should be provided on the scaffolds. 6) Necessary aluminum/ M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building.

Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, leveling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 3 kilometer but not exceeding 4 kilometers.

Providing, fixing and grouting with cera inject SS, fixing non returnable packer into the roof slab to a depth of 30mm for grouting purposes including injection packer, packer connector, labour for packing fixing, labour for packer grouting and applying cera inject SS of 1.14g/cc and cera inject LV plus of 1.04g/cc mixing in ratio of 1:1 and having a pot life upto 6 to 8 hours for arresting roof leaks, low roof leakages, under ground sump leaks at various elevations including all machinery, tools, manpower, necessary scaffoldings and as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The consumption of grout material measured for bill is the actual quality of intake during grouting. Wastages during grouting process not considered for measurement.

Providing, fixing injection foam grouting - non returnable packer into the roof slab, gutter, beam junction, bottom of soffit slab up to a depth of 30 mm for grouting purposes and injecting the approved foam grouting components upto the refusal of grouting material as per manufacturer recommendation including cost of injection packer, packer connector and removing the packer after grouting components completion and finished the packer hole with polymer modified mortar including all labour charges and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The consumption of grout material measured for bill is the actual quality of intake during grouting. Wastages during grouting process not considered for measurement.

2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.
