Shifting of safety staircase to work place, unpacking, assembling and erection of safety staircase as per manufacturer guidelines/directions given by manufacturer representative. Vendor to assess and provide all necessary suitable tools/equipment/tackles for completing the work. Vendor to assess work site and provide any requirement of necessary temporary arrangements before starting the work for safe execution of job. Scope of job also includes site clearance, shifting of all scrap materials (wooden pallets), etc., from work place to place as instructed by engineer in charge. Scope shall also include painting of structures where modification are made for installing safety staircase or on staircase or on any other surface as advised by engineer in charge. Testing and commissioning of safety staircase at TWG as per directions of OEM representative. Scope of the job includes supervision, commissioning and testing of the safety stairways at the site. Installation shall conform to manufacturer guidelines. After successful installation the staircase will be commissioned. Commissioning certificate in the HPCL approved format along with all test reports needs to be provided by OEM representative on successful commissioning of facility. Format for certificate shall be submitted and approval on the same needs to be obtained from concerned engineer before starting commissioning activity at site. Separate commissioning certificate on each staircase commissioned needs to be given by the OEM representative witnessing the activity. The vendor shall depute one or more service engineers for the job. The service engineer shall be present along with the installation vendor for supervision of the installation. Job includes directing the vendor and OIC/EIC regarding the installation, supervising the installation works, checking the staircase after installation for proper fitness, eccentricity etc., suggesting rectifications if required, checking the rotation and performance of loading arm prior to commissioning, making daily reports etc. The final commissioning and submission of acceptance of commissioning certificate will also be scope of the engineer. Rate to include training a batch of 10 workmen and 4 officers on the correct operation and maintenance of same for a period of min 1 hour.
