Foundation and Basement

Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete mix M-20 grade in accordance with IS:456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m³ and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser/super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m) 5156 kg of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc, complete complying with standard specification (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Foundation and Basement

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position mild steel / ribbed to steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. Binding wire in all floors etc. Complete complying with standard specification. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire)

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90 x 60cm and 10BG stiffened with welded mild steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over silver oak koists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at above 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at not more than 75cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specification. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid)

For foundation, Plinth Beam, upto basement

Special plastering for R.C.C. slab beam and sunshades with Cement mortar 1:3, 10mm thick in all floors including cost and conveyence of all materials and labour charges, curing, hacking, cement mortar nosing wherever necessary finishing etc. complete complying with standard specifications.

Brick work in lime motar using best quality of Third Class Country Bricks Kiln Burnt of size 83/4" x 41/4" x 23/4" in Lime mortar 1:2 including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifiction.

Ground floor

Plastering with Lime mortar 1:1.5, 12mm thick including cost and coveyance of all materials and all labour charges, curing, etc. complete in all floors complying with standard specifications

Painting two coats of newly plastered wall surface with ready mixed exterior emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and fixing teak wood temple type door using well seasoned best quality teak wood including wrought and put up all materials, labour charges and fixing in position including all furniture fittings making grows in the frame and door shutter etc complete with standard specifications.

Painting new wood work with two finishing coats with synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over one coat priming coat including brush, labour charges etc, complete complying with standard specification.

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrade, grill gate etc, with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing zinc chromite yellow primer coat in all floors etc, complete complying with standard specification. (The make quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works).

Weathering course concrete with broken jelly 20mm size and pure unslaked lime over RCC roof slab, the proportion being 32:12.5 (by volume) for required depath of 80mm for giving required slope and thickness of roof on required, well beatten with wooden beater using lime Jaggery galnut water etc, complete complying with standard specifications.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles 20cm x 20cm x 20mm of approved quality laid in lime mortar 1:2 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound 2% by weight of lime used and pointing the same mortar with red oxide etc complete complying with standard specification.

Providing new Sudhai vigrahams in the Vimanams and Rajagopurams with copper rod reinforcement of suitable dia with binding wires wherever necessary, shaping the core with broken bricks set in Lme mortar 1:1.5 with 20% cement finishing the same with Lime mortar 1:1.5 with 20% cement bringing to the correct shape (Laskshana) in conformfit with silpa sastra inclusive of special ornaments, wiapons, peedam etc,. complete and providing Combination mortar Nayam theervai wherver necessary. Inclusive of cost and conveyance of all materials, such as cement broken bricks, and copper rods binding wire all labour for working in heights, curing lifting of materials etc., complete including cement painting 2 coats over a primary coat (one vigraham is accountable with one head, 4 hands with weapons, ornamental costumes etc., as per pathima lashans, Vigraham height is measurable from the crown top to bottom of foot only if peetam is pt/provided the rate with peetam may be adopted as detailed hereunder. complete all as specified and directed by the Executive Engineer.

Scaffolding charges for Vimanams and gopurams with casurina posts coconut or plam trees wherever necessary for main, form work and providing ladder arrangements, country wood plank for working, inspection etc, complete hire charges only for erection, maintainance and removing the same on completion of the work.

Cleaning the stone surfaces by water wash such as wall stones, pillar, pothiyal, uthiram, flooring and pavukkal from white wash/colour/ wash painting including cost of necessary soap/ brushes labour charges for cleaning etc.,all complete as directed by the department others.

Pointing the cut stone masonry work with lime mortar 1:1.5 excluding cost and conveyance of cut stone but including all labour charges scaffolding curring, pointing etc complete with standard specifications. The lime used shoud be sourced is highly iron fortified and suitable for structural and masonry works.

Labour charges for Dressing and fixing of required faces consisting of Aswapadam, Sthamaba, Sthambam, Kalasam, Thadi, Kudam, Palagai, Veerakandam, Bodhiyal, Uthiram, Kambu, Eludham, Kabothagam, Viyalam, Koodu, Ull Vari, Pavukkal, Thun, Flooring, Nilaikal, Bodhiyal Thani, Uthiram, etc neatly finishing, fixing in position and pointing with lime mortar 1:1.5 as directed by the departmental officers.

Flooring with cut stone slab of size 600mm x 600mm and other sizes for site requirement not less than 100mm thick with machine cut edges and top surface dressed as directed by the departmental officers including cost and conveyance of materials to site and labour charges for paving and pointing with Lime Mortar 1:1.5 etc., complete as directed by the departmental Officers. single line dressing
