Providing and erecting of Retro - Reflectorised Cautionary, Mandatory and Informatory signs(without definition board) made out of High Intensity Prismatic Grade Sheeting confirming to Type-IV standards of IRC-67: 2012 and ASTM D 4956 –09, specification and fixed over 2mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed over a back supporting frame of 25mm x 25mmx3mm Mild Steel angle and supported on a mild steel angle post 75X75X6mm with a clear height of not less than 2.10m from the ground level to the bottom of the sign board and 0.60m below ground level. The sign post should be painted as per IRC 67-2012 and firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45cmX45cmX60cm size including cost and conveyance of all materials, equipment, Machinery and labour with all leads and lifts, loading charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work as directed by the engineer-in-charge. High intensity Retro - Reflectro sheet shall consist of minimum coefficient of Retro-reflection as per Table 6.6 of IRC 67-2012. The retro - reflective sheeting shall be covered under 7 year warranty issued for field performance and a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report shall be obtained as per IRC 67:2012 . Providing and Fixing of Flexible Median Marker that are made of tough, high impact resistant, injectionmolded, thermoplastic body with property of flexibility to provide high durability. The dimension of Flexible Median Marker should not exceed 18.4 cm in height(including shank height),12.5 Cm in width. ,0.65 cm in thickness and shank depth shall be 3.4 cm The body structure shall be rounded at all its corners and edges. The plastic used for molding the Flexible Median Marker should survive impact load of 5kg continuously for 750 times at room temperature.The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossedon either side of the body in the injection molding process. The Median Marker shall have flame like shaped body with, fluorescent yellow color retro-reflective sheeting of size not less than 90 Cm square, with fully reflective micro prismatic cube corners as its retro-reflective elements as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956-09 type XI specifications reflectivity values. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be one or both sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shallbe edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage etc., The Flexible Median Marker shall be fixed by a combination of epoxy adhesive and grouting as recommended by manufacturer.

Flexible median Marker

Providing fixing of Rigid Median Marker double sided made of polycarbonate for impact resistance and good weather ability. Polycarbonate used for molding the median marker shall have a minimum Izod impact strength value of 600 J/m at room temperature. The impact strength of the poly carbonate should not decrease to less than 70% of its initial value on being subjected to UV weathering as per ASTM G 155 for 1000 hours or exposure to 2 years of natural weathering. The body of the median marker shall be in the form of an isosceles trapezoidal structure of length 15 cm height and width of 10 x 10 cm. The median marker shall have fluorescent yellow retro - reflective sheeting confirmingto Type XI specifications as per ASTM D 4956. Area of reflective sheeting should not be less than 70 cm2.Edge of retro reflective shall be concealed using a grill/ mesh/similar mechanism to prevent vandalism and sheeting pilferage. Supplying of Solar raised Pavement Markers Made of polycarbonate molded body, solar powerd, LED self-Illumination in active mode, 360 degree illumination and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face in passive mode.the product should be resistant to water ingress according toIP 65 standards with IS 12063:1987 Category 2 and should withstand temperatures in the range of -7 C to 70c.Flsahing rate and color lightriubg to be provided asper requirement. There should be minimum current losses of less then 20 micro-amperes in sleep charging mode to enhange product life and single charge should provide for a minimum autonomy of 50 hours. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive asper manufacturer's reommedation and complete as directed by engineer. Warrenty certificate and test reports confirming to compressive strength asper Morth circular shall be obtained from the manufacturer and submitted to the engineer-in-charge. Two years warranty Certificate for solar RPM for the quantity installed and a certified copy of test reports form an independent test labortory conforming to water ingress shall be obtained from the Manufacturer by the contractor and submitted the engineer-in-charge.
