Galvashield XPI: Supplying and installation including design, detailed engineering and commissioning of zinc anode with cable system of pre-manufactured type, after prewetting the bar shaped Embedded Galvanic anodes with dimensions of 35mmX80mmX40mm and minimum 55grams weight of zinc in compliance with ASTM B418 Type II and cast around a pair of steel tie wires and encased in a highly alkaline cementitious shell with PH of 13.5 or greater and The cementitious mortar shall contain no chlorides or other corrosive constituents anodes shall be like galvashield XPI manufactured by vector Corrosion technologies. The scope includes Installation of Monitoring station and Junction box for suitable Loop/Zones of anodes as per recommendation of manufacturer for future monitoring and keeping a record of reading as reference as directed by manufacturer. Rates include necessary approval of Manufacturer's guidance, recommendation and Inspection for installation of anodes. Galvanic anode shall be placed along the perimeter / interface of the old concrete and new repair material as per design and/or Spacing of anodes shall be between 300 to 600mm c/c depending upon steel density ie steel surface area and concrete area with sufficient clearance to allow repair material to encase anode, confirm the electric connection using multimeter between anode tie wire and reinforcing steel, then complete the repiar using cementitious Repair material. The agency has to demonstrate suitable sacrificial zinc anode before erection and take written approval from EIC. The rate shall include the cost of all the operations and etc complete

Lokfix S for Shear Connectors: Chemical Anchoring of Reinforcement (Lock fixing) with 150mm depth over the existing RCC Structures, by using Fosroc Chemical or equivalent material instead of overlapping or welding for 12mm dia.

Anti-Corrosive Coating: Clean the TMT bars using the rust remover, if there exists any rust; otherwise clean the TMT bars free of foreign material. Mix the base and hardener of the zinc rich epoxy resin mechanically using a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fitted with mixing paddle. Apply the mixed materials to the cleaned rebar and allow it to dry completely. The rate shall include cost of all the operations and etc complete.

Epoxy Bonding Agent: Before pouring the micro concrete, the base and hardener of the epoxy jointing compound NITOBOND EP or equivalent shall be mixed mechanically using a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine. The same shall be applied over the existing prepared concrete surface using good quality brush.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including supports and structing upto 3m high for plane surfaces such as RCC plane surfaces such as RCC columns, top and bottom slabs of boxing. sill labs, sun shades, etc., with necessary facia using mild steel sheets of size 90x60cm and 10 gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25x25x3mm for boarding laid over silver Oak (country wood) joists of size 10x6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casuarina props supported by casuarina props of 10 to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc., complete

SUPPLY AND POURING MICRO CONCRETE: Sufficient quantity of RENDROC RG shall be stocked along with 12 mm downgraded chips at site to enable completion of pouring in a continuous operation. An approved grout concrete mixer of slow speed heavy duty drill shall be used for the mixing of the micro concrete. Exact quantity of water as recommended by IIT - Madras should be poured in to mixing vessel along with the RENDROC RG and 12 mm cleaned chips (in the ratio of 1:1) slowly. The mix shall be mixed thoroughly in forced action. The mixed material should be placed immediately in the form work continuously without any gap through the PVC pipe fixed from the top of the deck. The rate shall include cost of all the operations and etc complete.

Polymer Modified Mortar: Chip off the corrosion damaged areas on the beam/ column/ slab/wall or any other structural members. Clean reinforcement using Reebaklens RR of Fosroc or equivalent and make sure that there are no traces of rust on the surface of existing rebars. Check for the depth of carbonation using the phenolphthalein indicator and make sure that the contaminated concrete is removed completely. Wet the surface with potable water and make sure that the surface is kept moist so that the water cement ratio in the polymer modified mortar is maintained. Supply and application of Nitobond SBR or equivalent soon after the finishing is over, apply the curing compound complete. The rate shall include necessary scaffolding and platform and cost of all the operations and etc complete.

Supplying and installation of strip seal expansion joint system catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 40mm complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer or their authorized representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer’s instructions for installation conforming to MoRTH specification for road and bridge works in the expansion gap provided in between decks over piers and in between deck with fatigue tested structural steel section at the nosing and anchorage assembly including cost and conveyance of all materials cost of testing as per MoRTH specification including labour equipments and all other incidental charges for fixing joints etc., complete as per standard technical specifications 2607 of MoRTH and as per the directions of Engineer in charge for Strip seal expansion joint over deck slab and approach slab and as per the directions of Engineer in charge etc., complete.

Jacking of Girders: Jacking shall be limited to 7 mm maximum when jacking one bearing at a time. Simultaneous jacking of all beams at one support may be performed provided the maximum lift is 19 mm and the maximum differential displacement between adjacent beams is 7 mm. Suitable gauges for the measurement of superstructure movement shall be furnished and installed by the contractor.

Epoxy Mortar shall be applied before the placing of Bearing Placing. The rate shall include cost of all the operations and etc complete.

Replacement of Bearings: Supplying fitting and fixing in position true to line and level elastomeric bearing confirming to IRC:83 (Part-II), Section IX and clause 2005 of MoRTH Specifications complete including all accessories as per drawing and technical specifications

Curing Compound: Immediately after the striking form work or after completion of the repair work the surface of the bracket as well as the pile should be sprayed with NITOBOND AR diluted with water in the ratio of 1:1 as a curing membrane. The rate shall include cost of all the operations and etc complete.

Protective coatings for Environmental face using Dekguard S: Providing and applying a single component high build elastomeric, crack - bridging, resistant to CO2 and Chloride ion diffusion, UV resistant, breathable acrylic coating with elongation at break exceeding 200% using Dekguard S of Fosroc or equivalent material applied in two coats(Each coat 125 micron DFT) on acrylic based primer at an average thickness of 250 microns DFT in two coats including acrylic resin based primer as per recommendation of the manufacturers. Item rate is inclusive of the materials all labour, supervision, tools and tackles and transportation etc. complete as per specification and as directed.

Dismantling R.C.C.works,carefully clearing away the debris as directed during execution.

Supplying and erecting in position of steel tubular sections & other steel elements like columns, beams, purlins,plates as per the drawing providing minimum grade of YST 310 as per IS 4923 for Rolled Tubular sections and grade E350 as per IS 2062 for all other steel elements and components. The materials of the all components should confirm to the relevant Indian Standard specifications. The elements shall be procured only from reputed manufactures of steel and certificates to the effect from the reputed manufacturers shall also be Furnished. Dismantling Floor finish and daddoing walls in cement mortar with mosaic tiles/glazed tiles/cuddapah slabs.

Paving the flooring with first quality plain CERAMIC TILES of all colours of size 305mmx305mmx6mm set in C.M.1:3,(one part of cement and three parts of crushed stone sand )12mm thick including pointing with white cement,labour,materials,etc., (Relevant ISI.std) (the crushed stone sand to be used in base mortar shall conform to gradation as per IS 1542-1977)

Paving the flooring with CEMENT CONCRETE TILES hydraulic pressed Antiskid tiles as per pattern design 20mm thick in cm 1:3 including pointing with colour cement. etc.. Complete (ISI)

Paving the steps with Cement concrete step tiles hydraulically pressed Anti skid steps tiles of 20mm thick in C.M.1:3, including pointing with colour cement etc, complet (I.S.I std)

Painting two coats with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping,clean removal of dirt,etc.,complete and including necessary plaster of parris,putty wherever required and neat finishing etc.(ISI STD)

Providing PVC Pipes in footpath: Supplying of PVC pipes 160mm dia with ISI monogram(working pressure 4kg/cm2)

Normal duty FRC Man hole: Supplying and fixing of normal duty FRC manhole cover of size of 600 x 600 including frame and positioning etc. charges (SD)

Brick work in second class bricks (9"x4 3/8" x 2 3/4") in C.M.1:4 ( 1 cement and 4 river sand) including curing, etc., complete for 23cm thick walls upto basement (upto 1m high above G.L.).

Plastering with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement and 4 river sand) 12mm thick including curing, etc., complete.

Dismantling the existing brick or stone masonry work in cement mortar under 3m high including carefully clearing the debris etc., complete.

Removing the existing ventilators,doors and windows including removal of frames, hinges and fastenings carefully and stacking the same at site etc., complete.

Providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 The finished surface to be level uniform and free from streaks and holes etc completed as per MORTH specification no.803

Providing and fixing reflective road studs of category A raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate / methyl methecrylate /ABS moulded body conforming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH. 33023/10/97- Do.III dt 11.06.97. The height, width and length shall not be less than 15mm, 90mm and 100mm and with minimum reflection area of 13 sq.m on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/-5degree Each reflectors shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 2 of said Morth circular. The strength of deteachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height not less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500Kgf.
