The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed BT Road Work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/ Board/ Government Undertaking. Additionally, the bidder should have completed drain/civil work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding three years. The bidder should have prior work experience in the Civil Engineering construction field for at least five years. The annual minimum financial turnover required is not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding three years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are specified as not less than 50% of the value put to tender. The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction field for at least the past five years and have satisfactorily completed Drain/Civil work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/Board/Government Undertaking. The amount of liquidated damages is 0.1% of the unfinished value of work per day till their completion, in case of default in meeting deadlines. The period of completion shall be 6 months from the date of issue of Work Order to the successful contractor.
