BATTERY SPECIFICATION S.No Item Name and Description Quantity Required 1 FOR ONLINE UPS LEAD ACID CAPACITY : 42 AH VOLTAGE : 12V SEALED MAINTENANCE FREE BATTERY 20Nos 1. DESCRIPTION: 1.1 .E-Tenders are invited in two Bid systems from list of suppliers of battery (hereinafter referred as the ‘Bidder’) for the supplyand installation of 20 numbers of12V, 42AH Sealed Maintenance Free Batteriesat GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, COIMBATORE-641013, Tamilnadu (hereinafter referred as the ‘GCT’). 1.2 ELIGIBILITY FOR BIDDERS Bidders should have branch office/service centre in Coimbatore district. Bidders should have supplied batteries to the central/state Govt office or Govt undertakings/Govt PSUsatleast two times.(Bidders should upload supply order obtained from the above) Bidders should be Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM) or Authorised Dealers. Incase of authorised dealers, they should have Authorisation Certificate from OEM. The bidder should produce original documents, in support of their claim, before Technical Evaluation committee,if it requires. 3 2. VALIDITY OF BIDS 2.1.Bids submitted shall remain valid for a period of 90 days from the last date of submission of Bid. The GCT reserves the right to extend the validity period, if so required. 3. LATE AND DELAYED TENDERS: 3.1. TheGCT may, at its discretion, extend the deadline for submission of Bids in which case all rights and obligations of the GCT will remain the same. 4. REJECTION OF BIDS The GCT shall have right, to reject the bid under the following circumstances without any notice. 4.1.The Bids submitted after the due date will summarily rejected. 4.2.The Bids submitted violating the conditions stipulated in the tender documents, TTA 1998 and TTR 2000 will be rejected. 5. RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY BID AND TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS 5.1. TheGCT shall have right, not to accept the lowest bid and also to reject any or all bids or terminate the tendering process at any time, without assigning any reason. 6. RATES AND PRICES 6.1. Bidders should fill up FORMA attached with this Notice Inviting Tender and upload it in pdf format. 6.2. Rates quoted by Bidders should be firm and final. 6.3. Rate and Taxes should be quoted separately in Financial bid (BOQ). 4 7. EVALUATION OF BIDS 7.1. TECHNICAL BID AND FINANCIAL BID 7.2. The Technical Bids and Financial Bids will be evaluated by the Purchase committee of the GCT. 7.3.The Purchase Committee while evaluating the Technical Bid or the Financial Bid will be at liberty to ask the Bidder to produce the original(s) of the scanned documents uploaded at the time of submission of bids online for getting clarification(s), if any, in case of doubt. 8. EXECUTION OF THE AWARD OF SUPPLY ORDER 8.1. The Successful Bidder will be given supply order with terms and conditions mentioned in the Tender Document. 8.2. GCT reserves the right to: (i)Insist on quality /specification of materials to be supplied. (ii) Modify, reduce or increase the quantity of the requirements, to an extent of the quantity tendered as per the provisions of Tamilnadu Transparency in Tenders Act 1998 and Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules 2000. (iii)Withhold any amount for the deficiency in service aspect of the ordered items supplied to the customers. 9. TERMS AND CONDITI
