Providing gravel base of approved thickness for flooring, kerbwall, etc., including supplying gravel, spreading gravel in uniform layers, watering, ramming, consolidating, dressing the top surface to the required level, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and Filling low lying area with selected Earth brought from outside sources including conveyance by lorry load, levelling to proper gradient, etc., all complete as per standard specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) by using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry including bond stones of 2 Nos/Sqm at 1.5 to 1.8 mts apart, raking out joints, sunk / flush pointing in CM 1:3, scaffolding, forming grooves wherever required, curing, etc., all as per standard specification.

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 at all lifts with well burnt stock bricks / FALG Bricks including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) for partition / Kerb walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick Compound wall in brickwork in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) using well burnt chamber bricks of approved quality consisting of 110mm thick brick work, 230 x 230mm size brick pillars at every 3 meters intervals and at junctions, corners etc., brick on edge layer at bottom and top as coping including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per Specifications.

Plastering with CM 1:3; 12mm thick for external surface over concrete/ brick work to make the surface uniform, free from undulations and imperfections including hacking pock marking of surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, curing at all lifts and applying bonding agents, etc all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5; 12mm thick for internal faces, including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary and applying bonding agents, disposing the dismantled debris, within 2 Kms lead etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:3, 20mm thick including supplying and mixing `CICO' or approved equivalent water proofing compound at the rate of 2 % (two percent) by weight of cement and finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement including chipping the existing plastering, applying bonding agents, disposing the dismantled debris within 2 Kms lead etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairs to internal / external plastering over brick work / concrete at all locations and all lifts using Polymer modified cement repair mortar including preparing the surface by hacking the surface for better adhesion, providing glass fibre mesh or chicken reinforcement, if any required, applying bond coat, filling / plastering with polymer modified repair mortar in layers using approved polymers, white / colour washing, curing, cleaning of floor/windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc., all complete as detailed below as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. a)  Surface Preparation: Preparing the wall surface by chipping of unsound/ weak /loose plaster surface mortar with manual Chisel and/ or by mechanical means at all lifts including cutting/trimming of edges to provide firm vertical faces, making square shoulders of cavities, cleaning the exposed surface to make surface dust free, disposal of debris within 2 Km lead. b)  Bond Coat: Applying SBR based bond coat of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. c)  Application of repair mortar: Building up with polymer modified cement repair mortar of ratio 1:4 (1 part of cement : 4 parts of sand) and adding admixtures in recommended proportion of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications (minimum 2% by wt. of cement shall be used).

20mm average thickness - Plain plaster

19mm average thickness Rough cast plaster (7 mm thick rough cast in C.M 1.3 using 6 mm and below size granite chips over 12 mm thick base coat)

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all height made with 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced @ 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical tubes, joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building, etc., Wherever required for the inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen, etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.)

Repairs to the wall and ceiling cracks by chipping and removing the damaged portion and 12mm thick plastering with CM 1:3 including making grooves over cracks, grouting with cement slurry or approved crack filling compound, providing Glass Fibre mesh or reinforcement rods, applying necessary approved quality bonding chemicals, finishing the surface, curing, white washing two coats, disposing the debris within 2Kms lead etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying coping on top of RR masonry in CM 1:4, 40mm thick and fixing with broken glass pieces including grouting with cement slurry curing scaffolding, etc., complete.

Providing sunk or flush pointing over RR Masonry in CM 1:3 above plinth for compound wall including removing the damaged pointing/ gowth of vegetation, cleaning the surface to receive pointing, finishing with float coat of neat cement, curing, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1 : 1.5 : 3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. Note :The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.

Supplying, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works including sloped roof and arches etc., as per drawings and specifications, all centering, scaffolding complete (Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces).

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Repolishing the Mosaic flooring and skirting with medium and fine polishing using 120 to 150 and 320 to 400 grit corborundam stones with the use of floor polishing machine/Hand polishing including washing thoroughly with soap powder and wax polishing etc., as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone Flooring with cement concrete 1:2:4; 20mm thick using 10mm and below size hard broken stones including chipping / dismantling the damaged portion of existing floor/dadoo, preparation of surface, consolidating, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth, providing dividing strips, disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places as shown at site within 1Km lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying In-situ mosaic flooring and dadooing using best Indian white and colour marble chips of sizes from smallest to 4 mm nominal size laid in cement marble powder mix 3:1 (3 cement : 1 marble powder) by weight in proportion of 4:7 (4 cement marble powder mix : 7 marble chips) by volume, 6mm thickness laid over a bed of 12mm (Average) thick bed mortar in CM 1:3 including dismantling the damaged portion of existing floor/dadoo, preparation of surface with bed mortar, laying/compacting the mixed mosaic chips thoroughly with grinding stone, curing, polishing with suitable grit corborundum stone at specified interval, disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places shown at site within 2Km lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying machine made 20mm thick burnt clay flat terrace tiles of size 230x230mm conforming to IS 2690 ( Part - I) of make Nuvocotto or other equivalent make colour and pattern over roof at all elevations jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing laid over a bed of 20mm thick cement motar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) and finished neat complete.

Flush pointing on roof tiles by removing the damaged pointing over existing roof tiles, cleaning, removing any growth of vegetation, washing thoroughly, pointing the joints with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement including filling the gap with polymer modified mortars or other approved water proofing chemicals etc., all completed as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing and rectifying the minor repair works in CM 1:3 like wall cracks, floor cracks, spalling of mortar on sides of doors, windows, wall and door joints, including the cost of materials, T&P etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position of Mortar Bund of size 50 x 40mm in Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) upto 1m length at sill level of doors including dismantling the existing bund, disposing the debris, making exposed surfaces smooth with cement slurry, curing, etc., all complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing Marble / Granite work gang saw cut mirror polished, (pre moulded and prepolished slab) machine cut for for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size of approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints treated with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, etc., including rubbing, curing, finishing, providing holes of required diameter, providing opening to fix counter basins, providing grooves wherever required, etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications. (Note: The marble/Granite stones slab shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.)

Granite - Ruby red/Jet Black (16 - 18mm thick)

Providing and fixing Granite stone Plaque of approved size using 16-18mm thick gang saw cut mirror polished (pre moulded and prepolished slab) Jet black or other approved shade granite stone engraved with approved font letters, logo, symbol, etc., using machine cut/ flame finish and border/letters with golden finish colour including fixing the plaque over 12mm thick Cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 Cement : 3 Coarse sand) or approved adhesive, pointing with White cement mortar 1 : 2 (1 White cement : 2 Marble dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the granite/marble shade, fixing to be secured to the backing by means of suitable approved cramps if required, finishing the surface, curing, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note: The Granite stones shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.)

Repairing to Kitchen Platform and Dadooing by providing and fixing 25 to 30mm thick one side polished Kota Stone slabs over a bed of 20mm thick bed mortar in CM 1:3 with sealing the joints of sink and corners with suitable metal paste including chipping the existing insitu mosaic platform/dadoo, preparation of surface with bed mortar, laying the Kota stone to required slope and alignment, plastering the platform faces and dadoo top with CM 1:3, cleaning and wax polishing, white washing the plastered surface with two coats of shell lime to match existing surface, disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places shown at site within 2Km lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing 20mm to 25mm thick both side polished cuddapah stone slabs for Shelves in Cupboard/Wardrobe/Shoe rack, etc., including fixing by cutting a chase of appropriate width with cutter and embedding the stone into the chase with epoxy grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) finished smooth, front face polishing, rounding the edges, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Cudappah stones shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order)

Dismantling, clearing away and disposing of waste materials at the places as shown with a lead of 2 Km including stacking of serviceable materials within a lead of 50m, disposal of debris, etc., all complete as per specification.

Repairs over the spalling on concrete members by chipping and removing the damaged portion and plastering with CM 1:3 including cleaning the surfaces, applying rust converter of approved quality, filling the damaged portion with cement concrete wherever required, applying necessary approved quality bonding chemicals, finishing the surface in layers, curing, white washing two coats, disposing the debris within 2Kms lead etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Fixing of doors/ Windows/ Ventilator frames by removing the damaged hold fasts including chipping, making holes, fixing new hold fast wherever required, masonry grouting to the hold fasts with CC 1:3:6, finishing to match with the existing surface, white washing two coats with shell lime excluding the cost of hold fast which will be paid separately under relevant item, etc., all as per specification.

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster / plain plaster with Two Coat of premium exterior emulsion paint of makeAsian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing / cleaning the fungus / stains, cleaning with water, filling the cracks with approved crack filler and including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, curing, scaffolding at all lifts, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- The samples should be got approved by the EIC before placing.

Providing and fixing of Stainless Steel 304 grade 150mm Square/Circular grating of make "Prayag" or other approved equivalent make including removing the damaged grating, fixing, finishing the surface to match with existing surface, etc., all complete as per specifications.

Repairing the existing damaged ceramic tiles dadooing/flooring by chipping out of the damaged portion and providing new ceramic tiles by thoroughly removing the damaged tiles, plastering and hacking the plastered surfaces and laying ceramic tiles of size 300x450mm for Dadoo and 300x300mm for Flooring by using Premium quality (I Class) of SOMANY/ KAJARIA / JOHNSON or other approved equivalent make, size and colour confirming to relevant IS code for dadooing/ anti-skid flooring laid over bed of 12 mm thick in CM 1:3 for dadoo and 20mm thick in CM 1:4 for flooring, pointing the joints with white cement and matching colouring pigments including disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places shown at site within 2Km lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Laying of retrieved cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern including taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, removal of rubbish, disposal of unserviceable material within 50 mtrs lead, leveling and compacting the bed, relaying the retrieved paver blocks over compacted bed of sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Raising of rectangular Manhole Inspection Chambers of size 900 X 600 mm clear with brick masonry walls 230mm thick for the height upto 300mm including earth work excavation in all types of soil and back filling wiith excavated earth disposing the surplus earth, chipping and removing the top cement layer of chamber, raising the chamber with Brick work, plastering in CM 1:3, 12mm thick on all out side surface and in CM 1:3 , 12mm thick finished with float coat of neat cement on inside, placing 50mm thick RCC precast cover slab, etc., all complete as per standard specification and as directed by Engineer -in charge. [Note: Cost of Precast slab will be paid for seperately under relevant item]

Providing and laying factory made precast Kerb stone of M-20 grade cement concrete of size 100mm thick & 500mm ± 50mm depth with suitable interlocking arrangement, top chamfering of size 50x70 mm or as approved size including excavation, conveying, laying the precast kerb blocks in position to the required line, level and curvature, making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), jointing / pointing the joints with cement mortar 1:3, refilling the sides, compacting, making drainage opening wherever required, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed. (Note: Length of finished Kerb edging shall be measured for payment and Precast kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge.)

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Upto 1 Km or part thereof

Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel gate / Grill door / Balcony grills of required pattern and size comprising of MS square bars, MS flats, MS angles, etc., including cutting, bending, welding, fixing at door jamb / wall by embedding the holdfasts with CC 1:3:6 (or) providing and welding the hinges over EP's (or) fixing with anchor fasteners, plastering the damaged wall surface, finishing smooth to match with existing surface, painting the steel surface with 2 coats of metal coat PU finish paint of make MRF or other approved make over one coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer with thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint as per manufacturer instructions, providing locking arrangements like aldrop, tower bolt, pad lock, etc., all complete as per specification.

Supplying, fabricating bending and fixing the position of AISI 304 grade stainless steel section for hand railing/hanger rods made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates, etc., of required size including butt / mitre welding, grinding, buffing, polishing, making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement, drilling holes in floor/walls embedding/ grouting with suitable grouting materials, etc., all complete as per drawing and specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. NOTE:- 1. The stainless steel tubular pipe/ section shall conform to ASTM A554/A312. 2. All welding joint shall conform to V groove joint and joint shall be ground finish. 3. There shall not be any spatter or imperfection on the pipe and the pipe surface shall be ground and smooth. 4. External surface of SS pipe shall be buffed to mirror finish. 5. The rate shall be inclusive of providing ball joiners, flush joiners, base plate/flanges, cover plate, end caps epoxy glue, round face/square face glass connecters for fixing etched colour glass if any of required size with gaskets including curved railings where ever required cost of screws, weld etc., 6. The entire pattern of stainless steel hand railing work/pattern including fixing of etched glass, if any in the hand rail shall be got approval by Engineer in charge/Architect before execution. 7. Only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc., for payment purpose.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge prefabricated cement concrete interlocking Soild / perforated paver block of M-30 grade made by table vibratory method using PU moulded with strong vibratory compaction of approved size, design, shape, laid in required colour and pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand including cost of sand filling, leveling with required slope, ramming the surface, watering, consolidation using vibratory earth rammers, filling the joints with sand, cleaning, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Providing and laying Dry stone pitching of 230mm thick for revetment including stacking of stones, relaying to the required grade and slope, packing and filling the intersects, watering, compaction, Flush / sunk pointing the joints with CM 1:3, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charges for cleaning the existing sunshade tops, roof terraces, canopy/sunshade tops in staircases by removing the unwanted materials, debris & dry leaves etc., including removing the vegetation growth along with roots, applying suitable chemicals, plugging the holes using cement mortar of suitable mix, collecting and disposing the waste materials, conveying by suitable means, disposing/depositing at places shown by department within 2 Km lead all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
