The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed works during the last seven years ending the previous day of the last date of submission of tender. The specific requirements are: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, - Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the estimated cost put to tender, - One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost under a single contract.
These similar works should be of the nature of Building Construction, Building Refurbishment works, or Civil Maintenance Works, and should have been executed in India only. The cost of work is considered as the gross value of the completed similar nature of work, including the cost of materials supplied by the Government/Client, but excluding those supplied free of cost. The bidder is required to provide detailed information on their prior work experience through forms such as FORM 'C' - DETAILS OF ALL WORKS OF SIMILAR CLASS COMPLETED, FORM 'D' - PROJECTS UNDER EXECUTION OR AWARDED, and FORM 'E' - PERFORMANCE REPORT OF WORKS REFERRED TO IN FORMS “C” & “D”.

Aluminium mobile tower scaffolding having double width platform with stairway as directed by EIC shall be provided by the contractor to access the working area during execution of work. iv) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the workmanship and the materials provided.
v) 50% (Fifty percent) of security deposit will be retained as performance security for the guarantee period and the same will be released after successful completion of the guarantee period i.e., after five years to be reckoned from the date after the maintenance period prescribed in the contract.
