Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. (Note:The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.)

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500 / Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 at all levels with well burnt chamber bricks/ FALG Bricks of approved quality in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) for partition / Kerb walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone flooring of 40 thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat Cement using 20/10mm and below size hard broken stones including laying in panels, cement slurry, consolidation, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and inserting 12mm (± 2mm) dia Galvanized steel/ Aluminium injection nipple suitable to withstand high pressure grouting in honey comb area/weak/porous concrete including drilling of holes of required diametre (20mm to 30mm) up to depth from 30mm to 80mm at required spacing, making the hole dust free by blowing compressed air, sealing the sides of injection nipple with adhesive chemical of make MC Bauchemie (MC Fix-ST) or Bostik (Plug leak) or other approved make and allow it to cure, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and injecting Cement based injection grout using grouting admixture of make Sika (Intraplast N200) or Fosroc (Cebex 100) or other approved make in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete by suitable injection gun/pump at required pressure including mixing of admixture with cement, injecting at specified pressure, cutting of nipples after curing, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:-The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.

Providing and laying Cementitious water proofing treatment system comprising of bond coat, top screed concrete including preparation of surface by chipping/dismantling the existing loose surfaces/ roof tiles with bed mortar, cleaning the surface by washing throughout, filling the cracks using approved crack fillers, injection/ grouting the cracks where ever required with cement slurry using suitable water proofing admixtures, applying bond coat, finishing the top with 20mm thick IPS flooring with water proofing admixtures, leak test, curing, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i) Cost of dismantling the existing tiles and bed concrete, grouting the cracks if any required will be paid separately under relevant item. ii) This treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of waterproofing treatment, authorized trained applicator should be used and certificate should be submitted before commence the work. iii) This work shall be executed at inaccessible terrace at a height of upto 11m. Aluminium mobile tower scaffolding having double width platform with stairway as directed by EIC shall be provided by the contractor to access the working area during execution of work. iv) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the workmanship and the materials provided. v) 50% (Fifty percent) of security deposit will be retained as performance security for the guarantee period and the same will be released after successful completion of the guarantee period i.e., after five years to be reckoned from the date after the maintenance period prescribed in the contract.

Providing and applying SBR based bond coat for terrace area before laying roof tiles of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or other approved make including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing / cleaning the fungus / stains, cleaning with water, filling the cracks with approved crack filler and including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, curing, scaffolding at all lifts, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note: Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications.)

Supplying and laying of one course of Vitrified Cool Roof tiles over roof slab / sloped surface of terrace and skirting using tiles of size 300x300mm and 10mm (±5%) thickness of make SOMANY (or) JOHNSON (or) PAVIT or approved equivalent make and conforming to IS: 15622 (Group B1a (or) Group B1b) approved colour with SRI (Solar Reflectance Index) 78, Solar reflection 0.70 & initial remittance 0.75 laid on 20mm thick bed on Cement mortar 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing admixture including removal of dead mortar from roof slab, cleaning the surface, exposing floor & wall function along parapet and column if any, sealing the floor & wall junction with water proofing mortar, laying screed concrete in CC 1:2:4 to form slope and haunch portion along parapet, if any required including laying tiles with required slope as per manufacturer specification, grouting the joints with approved tile grout, etc., all complete as per manufacturer Specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Cost of screed concrete in CC 1:2:4 will be paid for separately under relevant item.)

Repairs to internal/ external plastering over brick work/ concrete at all locations and all lifts using Polymer modified cement repair mortar including preparing the surface by hacking the surface for better adhesion, providing glass fibre mesh or chicken reinforcement, if any required, applying bond coat, filling/plastering with polymer modified repair mortar in layers using approved polymers, curing, cleaning of floor/windows thoroughly on completion of repair work, scaffolding etc., all complete as detailed below as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a)  Surface Preparation: Preparing the wall surface by chipping of unsound/ weak /loose plaster surface mortar with manual Chisel and/ or by mechanical means at all lifts including cutting/trimming of edges to provide firm vertical faces, making square shoulders of cavities, cleaning the exposed surface to make surface dust free, disposal of debris within 2 Km lead. b)  Bond Coat: Applying SBR based bond coat of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. c)  Application of repair mortar: Building up with polymer modified cement repair mortar of ratio 1:4 (1 part of cement : 4 parts of sand) and adding admixtures in recommended proportion of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications (minimum 2% by wt. of cement shall be used).

20mm average thickness - Plain plaster

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its external faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]

Supplying and fixing in position of Alkali resistance Glass fibre mesh (4-5mm square aperture with 145 gsm) over the joints of RCC and Brick work with cement paste before plastering as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster/plain plaster with Two Coats of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing / cleaning the fungus / stains, cleaning with water, filling the cracks with approved crack filler and including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, curing, scaffolding at all lifts, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Repairing and rectifying the roof leakage in around rainwater downtake pipes by chipping the existing concrete/brickbat coba, preparation of surface, applying bond coat, fixing fibre reinforcement mesh around pipes, filling PCC 1:2:4 and finishing top surface with CM 1:3 with to required slope and alignment , including the cost of materials, T&P etc., all complete as directed by Engineer. (Note: The cost of PCC 1:2:4 will be paid for seperately under relevant item.)

Providing and fixing 110mm size of Upvc roof corner rainwater gratings of premium quality approved make over the rain water pipes including fixing in CM 1:3 as per specifications.

Replacing the existing damaged CI Rainwater down take pipes by Providing and jointing of SWR uPVC pipes - Type A - 110mm OD (suitable for ventilation work and rain water applications) of approved make conforming to IS: 13592 - latest edition with ISI mark including moulded fittings/specials such as bends, shoes, etc., jointing with seal ring conforming to IS - 5382 leaving 10mm gap for thermal expansion, fixing to the wall with adequate no. of PVC clips for rain water down take pipes etc., including removing the damaged CI pipe, chipping / removing the embedded pipe in roof concrete, fixing the new PVC pipe with suitable clamps over teak wood packing pieces, restoring the dismantled roof concrete after fixing new PVC pipe with CC 1:2:4, finishing around the pipe at roof level, disposal of debris with in a initial lead, stacking of retrieved CI pipes at GSO stores, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of Tile work in floors and roofs laid in CM upto 25mm thick including removal of tiles, stacking as directed, disposal of debris within a initial lead of 50m etc., all complete.

Dismantling of old plastering / skirting including raking out the joints, cleaning the surface for plastering, disposal of debris within a initial lead of 50m, etc., all complete.

Dismantling Plain cement concrete / Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Dismantled debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.
