Supplying and erecting in position LIGHT DUTY STEEL TRUSSES as per the drawing. The materials and design of the trusses should confirm to the relevant Indian Standard specification. The trusses shall be procured only from reputed manufactures of trusses with prior approval of the Buildings Engineer and a certificate to the effect from the reputed manufacturers shall also be furnished with design. The rate quoted shall include the cost of trusses. Fabricating and supplying steel windows and ventilators of standard sizes with side hung glazed shutters (open out and glazed out) using best quality of hot rolled steel sections conforming to I.S.7452/1974 specifications. The sections are cut to length required and mitred. The corners of the easements are electrically flash butt welded to form a solid fuse right angle joint so that all the frames are square and flat conforming to I.s. 1038/75 sub dividing bars and glazing bars of the unit are tenered and rivetted to the frames. Steel windows and ventilators are provided with necessary fittings such as hold fasts protecting pressed steel hinges (heavy type) with galvanised steel washers inserted into slots. Cut in the outer frames and welded to the frame inside. Handle plate pegstays and locking brackets are of pressed steel and are revetted to the frames. All the steel surface should be free from rest scales dirt oil etc. and painted with one coat of anticorrosive red oxide zinc chrome primer.(ISI STD).

Sectioning and levelling the site including cutting heavy undulations etc. complete.
