3.Casting the Tetrapods with M35 Design Mix Cement concrete weighing minimum 5Te. as shown in the relevant drawing and as directed including all operations shuttering, vibrating, curing etc. all as per relevant schedule including testing of concrete, labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, fuel etc., Complete.

4.Handling, transporting the newly cast 5Te.(approx.) Tetrapods from stack yard and placing at seaside slope of revetment as Armour unit in two layers all as per relevant drawing and as directed at site including handling operation, labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1. The Contractor shall engage Cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and placing of Tetrapods at the required reach. 2. The Contractor shall engage skilled workmen for the work.

5.Supplying, transporting and dumping/formation of Filter Layer (Consisting of 1kg to 10kg hard blue granite stones) along the alignment of existing revetment structure at Sea side and spreading the same to get required profile as specified in the drawing and in the relevant schedules including all the operations, labour, materials, tools, plants, equipment,transport,fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The Contractor shall engage Cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and to dump the filter layer. 2. The Contractor shall engage skilled workmen for the work. 3.The contractor has to make his own arrangement for weigh bridge

6.Supplying, transporting and dumping/formation of Under Layer (Consisting of 500kg to 800kg hard blue granite stones) along the alignment of existing revetment structure at Sea side and spreading the same to get required profile as specified in the drawing and in the relevant schedules including all the operations, labour, materials, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The Contractor shall engage Cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and to dump the Under layer. 2. The Contractor shall engage skilled workmen for the work. 3.The existing slope of revetment at Sea side which is 1:1.5 shall be modified to 1:2 as indicated in the Drawing. 4.At no time the Under layer shall be left unprotected by the Armour layer. 5.The contractor has to make his own arrangement for weigh bridge.

7.Supplying, transporting and dumping/formation of Toe Berm Layer (Consisting of 500kg to 800kg hard blue granite stones) along the alignment of existing revetment structure at Sea side and spreading the same to get required profile as specified in the drawing and in the relevant schedules including all the operations, labour, materials, tools, plants, equipment,transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The Contractor shall engage Cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and to dump the Toe Berm layer. 2. The Contractor shall engage skilled workmen for the work. 3.The contractor has to make his own arrangement for weigh bridge

8.Providing and laying M35 grade Design mix cement concrete for mass capping and crest wall to the required level and dimension as per the drawing and as directed at site excluding centering and shuttering all as per relevant schedule including curing, testing of concrete, labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: Existing mass capping may be chipped at top to facilitate adequate bonding before construction of proposed Crest wall structure

9.Providing Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for PCC, M35 concrete for Mass capping and Crest wall including all labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete.

10.Supplying and laying in position 200 gauge polythene sheet to correct alignment below the mass capping concrete and wherever required as directed at site as per relevant schedule all including labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete.

11.Supplying and laying impregnated bitumen pad (comply with IS 1838-1983 or its latest revision) of 20 mm thickness and 275 mm depth (approximately) for expansion joints to the required lengths as specified in the drawing and as directed including all labour, materials, tools & equipments etc., complete.

12.Supplying and laying bitumen sealing compound of grade ’A’ confirming to IS 1834-1984 (or its latest revision) for expansion / Longitudinal / contraction Joints in road concrete portion as per details shown in the drawing including painting the edges of the joints with an approved primer all as specified and as directed at site including all labour, materials,cost of supplying and placing the plastic inserts for the contraction joint, tools, equipment, fuel etc., complete.

13.Levelling the existing dumped debris/earth in the existing surface of backup area of Coastal berth at western side of existing revetment for road widening by removing/dozing the concrete debris using Dozer 80HP or as directed at site with lead upto 50m including all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

14.Providing and laying Granular Sub-Base 300mm thk. by providing close graded Material mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers manually over the Core layer surface for road widening portion as per drawing and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MoRT&H technical specification clause 401confirming to Grading-l (Table-400-1) all as directed including labour, materials, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc. complete.

15.Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (1Cement:4 CS Sand :8 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for levelling course for road and wherever required all as per relevant specifications, drawing and as directed excluding centering and shuttering including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, dewatering if any , curing etc., including all materials , labour, tools, plants, equipments, transport, fuel etc., Complete.

16.Providing and fabricating and fixing the MS dowel bar (16mm Dia. @200mm C/C) for Expansion joint as shown in the drawing (one half of the rod painted with bitumen and greased to avoid bonding of dowel bars with concrete including providing necessary cap / sleeve and cotton waste.) and TMT Tie bars (12mm Dia. @600mm C/C) for Longitudinal joint as shown in the drawing including drilling horizontal holes of minimum dia. of 16mm and 300mm depth from side face of the existing cement concrete of mass capping using hand held drill machine, fixing the tie bars in position in drill holes using anchoring adhesive (HILTI HIT MM of Hilti India Private Ltd. or its equivalent) as per manufactures specification and as directed to suit the site requirement including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, plants, transport ,fuel etc., Complete Note : PVC sleeve will be paid in the separate item of this BoQ 16 (a.) Dowel bars (16mm dia. MS bar)

17.Providing and fixing PVC Sleeve for dowel bar(16mm) in Expansion joint as per specification and drawing and as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, plants, transport ,fuel etc., Complete.

18.Excavation in ordinary soil ,sand, clay mixed with roots, boulders weighing individually less than 250kg, debrish, rubbish etc., at the existing surface of backup area of Coastal berth and western side of existing revetment for road widening and wherever required for all lift and all as per relevant drawing, specification, and depositing the excavated earth with in a lead of 50m for re-transportation including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, plants, transport ,fuel etc., Complete

19.Supplying, transporting and dumping/formation of Core Layer (Consisting of 1kg to 100kg hard blue granite stones) along the alignment of existing revetment structure at Harbour side and spreading the same to get required profile and level and finishing the side slopes of 1:1.4 and upto the bottom level of GSB layer as specified in the drawing and in the relevant schedules including all the operations, labour, materials, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The Contractor shall engage Cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for easy handling and to dump the Core layer. 2. The Contractor shall engage skilled workmen for the work. 3. The contractor has to make his own arrangement for weigh bridge.

20.Loading ,Transporting and dumping the Surplus earth within a lead of 1 km as directed at site including all labour, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in Port’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of surplus earth transported. 2.Payment will be based on lorry cubical content after deduction of 20% for voids for surplus earth. 3.Final payment for transportation of surplus earth quantity will be restricted to earth work excavation quantity minus refilling quantity if any.

21.Loading ,Transporting and dumping the debris within a lead of 1 km as directed at site including all labour, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., Complete. Note: 1.The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in Port’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of debris transported. 2.No deduction of voids for debris will be made.
