Bid Capacity
The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the formula: Available bid capacity = A x M x N - B Where: A = Maximum value of engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated at the current price level @ simple rate of 7% per annum) M = Multiplier Factor (usually 1.5) N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the work in question B = Value (updated at the current price level) of the existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed in the next 'N' years. The bidder should possess the bidding capacity as calculated by this formula. The bid capacity should be more than the total bid value, which is Rs 527.45 lakhs (approx.) in this case. Additionally, the bid capacity required is also mentioned as Rs 10,55,000/- (Rupees Ten lakhs fifty-five thousand only) as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).
Technical Capacity
