22.Providing flooring with Anti skid ceramic tiles (Johnson / Kajaria / Nitco or equivalent)of size 300mmx300mm or nearest size and 7mm nominal thick as available in the market of approved pattern, shade and colour set in C.M 1:4 (1cement:4 crushed stone sand), 20mm thick laid with required slope and fixed with cement slurry and joints neatly pointed with white cement added with pigment to match the colour of the tiles, curing, all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

1.Providing double scaffolding arrangement at the existing Carpentry shop building to carry out repair/improvement works by using Steel pipes of required diameter or by Casuarina poles, including providing necessary tie members, bracings etc., all-round and platforms at various level adequate strength including removing the scaffolding with platform after completion of repair/improvement works all as per relevant specification and all as directed at site including all labour, materials, tools, equipment, coir, transport, fuel, etc., complete. Note: 1.75% of payment may be released after erecting of scaffolding in all respects. 2.The balance 25% of payment will be released after completion of repair/improvement works and removal of scaffolding. 3. If casuarina poles used for scaffolding, the bottom and top dia. of casuarina poles are of 100mm and 50mm respectively.

17.Preparing the surfaces of floor and plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 crushed stone sand), 20mm thick to the required finish, curing all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, etc., complete.

10.Removing the serviceable /un-serviable wooden shutters from the windows of area less than 3sq.metre at carpentry shop building of without damaging the main frame and shutters wherever required to carry out rectifications to the serviceable shutters and transporting and handing over the damaged /unservicable shutters if any, to the departmental stores/RSD yard within port premises all as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete. NOTE: 1.Carrying out necessary rectifications and re-fixing of the serviceable shutters will be measured and paid separately under the relevant item.

38.Supplying and fixing Gear operated type (mechanical type) mild steel rolling shutters of approved make with crank handle including necessary locking arrangements etc., and shutters made up of MS laths of 1.20mm tk and the laths without joints in each strip shall machine rolled and straightened with an effective bridge depth of not less than 12mm and interlocked together throughout entire length and shall have a distance of 75mm rolling centres and joined together at the end with end locks and mounted on specified design pipe shaft having pulley, ball bearing and coil type springs. The spring manufactured from high tensile spring steel wire. The spring, pipe shaft etc..,shall be supported with MS brackets and MS guide channels of size 3.15mm tk and depth 65/75 mm or specified and all the arrangements should be fixed to the wall /column by means of screws to suit the existing clear width and height in good working condition including arrangements for inside and outside locking and providing M.S hood cover to the rolling shutters made out of not less than 1.20mm tk M.S sheet including painting the shutter and hood cover with one coat of zinc chromate primer of approved colour and shade, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, Scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete and all as per Chennai Port Trust civil Engineering manual and latest amendments. Note: For recording measurements the width shall be measured as the outer distance between the backs of the two guide channels of the rolling shutter and the height shall be distance between thesill and the centre of the hood cover.

37.Preparing the surfaces of ceiling and applying one coat of white wash using lovelycem to give an even shade as directed at site including all labour, scaffolding, materials, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

39.Refilling with available excavated earth excluding boulders, rubbish, debris, etc., wherever required in layers not exceeding 200mm thick and all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including consolidating the deposited earth in layers by watering and ramming including all labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

7.Dismantling and removing the damaged Indian type water closet including all accessories, conveying and handing over the serviceable materials if any, to the departmental stores/RSD yard within port premises and bringing the debris to the ground level and depositing within a lead of 50m for disposal, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

16.Preparing the surfaces of walls wherever required and providing plaster in cement mortar 1:5 (1cement: 5crushed stone sand) 12mm thick to the required finish, curing all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, etc., complete.

19. Refixing the removed serviceable window shutters after carrying out necessary rectifications, to suit the existing window frames all as per site condition and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding etc. complete. Note: 1.Necessary fixtures like butt hinges, tower bolts, etc., will be paid under relevant item of this schedule. 2. Removing the serviceable shutters will be measured and paid separately under the relevant item.

31(d).Tower bolt 150mm long.

24.Providing and fixing vitreous flat back urinal basin (white )(Parryware or Hindware or equivalent) of size 430x260x350mm or nearest size available in the market as per manufacturer's specification with PVC flexiable flush pipe with clamp, teak wood plugs, screws with all fittings and fixtures for inlet and outlet arrangements as directed at site all in sound working condition, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc. Complete.

11.(b) In first floor.

34.Preparing the surfaces of new wooden members and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian/Berger/Dulux or equivalent) of approved colour over one coat of primer to give an even shade, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffoldings, brushes, tools, equipment, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient.

36.Preparing the surfaces of existing walls and applying two coats of colour wash using lovely cem of approved colour to give an even shade as directed including all labour, scaffolding, materials, tools, equipment, etc., complete

32(c). Stop cock 15mm dia.

13.Providing and laying plain cement concrete of mix 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 crushed stone sand: 4 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for flooring and wherever required all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, curing, shuttering if any and all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, plants, equipment, fuel, etc. complete.

25.Providing and fixing Indian type Water Closet (Orissa pattern) (Parryware or Hindware) glazed white vitreous of size 580mm x 410mm (overall) or nearest size as available in the market with necessary 'P' or 'S' trap of approved make and quality fixed in brick jelly lime concrete in volumetric proportion, curing and making good the disturbed portions, including providing 10 litres capacity PVC flushing cistern (Slim line of Parryware or equivalent) with all fittings and fixtures, etc., all in sound working condition, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

2. Earth work excavation in ordinary soil, sand, clay mixed with roots, boulders weighing individually less than 250Kg, debris, rubbish etc., as existing at site of work for all foundations and other such works up to 1.50m depth including dressing of sides, ramming of bottom all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, depositing the excavated earth within a lead of 50m for transportation/refilling including shoring, strutting, all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, fuel etc., complete.

20.Supplying and fixing in position 5mm nominal thick plain glass (Saint Gobain or Modiguard or equivalent) for wooden louvered/fixed ventilators with necessary accessories like beading, screw etc., all as directed at site including removing old damaged glass, all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. NOTE: 1. The actual area of glass used will be measured for payment purpose.

8.Dismantling and removing the existing damaged rolling shutter of size 2.90mx3.70m (approx.) including hood cover and accessories, etc., without damaging the structures nearby and handing over the dismantled materials to departmental stores/RSD yard within port premises and stacking the debris if any, at ground level within a lead of 50m for re-transportation and disposal, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

29.(b) Providing and fixing of rigid unplasticized PVC pipes 110mm outer dia (Finolex or Trubore or Varun or Supreme) 4kgf/sq.cm. for Rain water down take lines including necessary specials like bends, tees, elbows, shoes etc., joining the pipes using necessary adhesives, on wall with necessary PVC clamps and making connections to floor traps, gully traps manholes etc., and making good the disturbed portions all as per relevant specification and all as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding etc., complete.

31(b). Hook and eyes 50mm long.

3.Dismantling and removing the tile dadoing/plastering in cement mortar from the inner/outer wall to the required thick wherever necessary without damaging the structure, including collecting and bringing the debris to the ground level and depositing within a lead of 50m for disposal, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including all labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

12.Providing Half brick work using bricks of class designation 50 in cement mortar 1:4 (1Cement: 4 crushed stone sand) in First floor and wherever required, curing all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel etc. complete.

31(c).Butt hinges 100 mm long.

9.Dismantling and removing the existing damaged wooden/PVC/FRP doors/windows of area less than 3sq.metre including main frame with shutters and MS hold fast if any, by cutting the masonry/concrete wherever required without any damages to the structure, transporting and handing over the dismantled materials to the departmental stores/RSD yard within port premises and stacking the debris if any, at ground level within a lead of 50m for re-transportation and disposal, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete.

15. Providing and laying cement concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1Cement: 1.5 crushed stone sand: 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for R.C.C. Sunshade all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site including centring, shuttering, scaffolding, mixing, transporting, placing, compacting, finishing all the exposed surface of the concrete members with C.M 1:3 (1Cement : 3crushed stone sand) to a thickness of 6mm to 10mm, curing including all materials, labour, tools, plants, equipment ,etc., complete. Note: 1.Supplying and fabrication of steel reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under the relevant item.

27.Providing and fixing vitreous white wash hand basin size of 530mm x 440mm or nearest size as available in the market (Parryware kingsmere basin or equivalent) with a single 15mm CP brass pillar tap, 15mm dia PVC inlet connection, 32mm dia PVC waste pipe fittings, a pair of cast iron brackets or anchor fasteners etc as available in the market suitable for fixing the brackets with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer and fixing the brackets with T.W plugs, screws, etc., and making good the disturbed portion all in sound working condition all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials labour, tools, equipment etc,. complete.

23. Providing wall dadoing with ceramic tiles (Johnson/Kajaria/Nitco or equivalent) (Plain) of size 300mmX200mm or nearest size and 6mm nominal thick as available in the market of approved pattern, shade and colour set in cement mortar 1:3 (1cement: 3 crushed stone sand) 12mm thick to the required height and fixed with cement slurry and joints neatly pointed with white cement added with pigment to match the colour of the tiles, curing all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

35.Preparing the internal surfaces of existing wall, and applying two coats of colour wash using OBD of approved colour and shade over one coat of primer all as per relevant specification and as directed at site of work including all labour, scaffolding, materials, tools, equipment, brushes, etc. complete.

26.Providing and fixing European type water closet glazed white vitreous (PARRYWARE or HINDWARE) with 'P' or 'S' trap to suit the site condition of approved make and quality with 10 liters capacity PVC low level flushing cistern (slimline of Parryware or equivalent) with PVC flush pipe, solid seat cover, fixing with T.W. plugs, etc., all in sound working condition, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

31.Providing and fixing Anodized aluminium fittings conforming to AC 10 Grade as per relevant specifications for the Doors, Windows etc., with necessary screws as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment etc., complete. (a).Hook and eyes 150mm long

32.Supplying and fixing of CP brass fittings(metro or equivalent) to water pipe line all specified and all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including testing, all materials, labour, tools, equipment, etc. complete. (a). long body bip cock 15mm dia Omega handle

18.Providing and fixing glazed shutters to suit the existing window main frames with teak wood (GHANA or equivalent) styles of 70x32mm in double leave to suit to the site condition and glazed shutter panels with 5mm nominal thick plain glass (Saint Gobain or Modiguard) including necessary wooden beading of size 12mm all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding etc. complete. Note: 1.Necessary fixtures like butt hinges, tower bolts, etc., will be paid under relevant item of this schedule.

5.Dismantling/Cutting the Reinforced cement concrete members wherever required to the required size, shape and level without damaging the nearby structures, including depositing the dismantled debris within a lead of 50m for re-transportation and disposal including cutting and removing the reinforcement steel from the structures wherever possible and handing over the retrieved salvageable materials to the departmental Store/RSD yard within the Port premises and making good the disturbed portions if any, including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, plants, scaffolding, transport, fuel, gas cutter etc., complete.

33.Preparing the surfaces of old wooden members and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian/Berger/Dulux or equivalent) of approved colour to give an even shade and finish all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all labour, materials, tools, tackles, equipment, brushes, scaffolding, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient.

40.Loading, transporting, dumping and levelling the debris in the low lying areas of port within a lead of 2Km all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site including levelling at dumping site all labour, transport, tools, equipment, fuel, etc., complete. Note : 1. The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in Port’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of debris transported. 2. Payment will be based on the lorry cubical content. No deduction will be made for voids. 3.However,final payment will be restricted to actual dismantling/demolishing quantity.

6.Dismantling the existing Plain Cement Concrete in lean mix wherever required without damaging the nearby structures to the required level, size and shape and making good the disturbed portions if any, and depositing the debris within a lead of 50m for re-transportation and disposal all as per relevant specification and all as directed at site including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, fuel, transport, etc. complete.

11. Providing Brick Work using bricks of class designation 50 in CM 1:5 (1cement :5 crushed stone sand) for walls, curing all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel etc. complete. 11(a).In Ground floor.

28.Providing and fixing single leave factory made solid panel PVC rigid foam panelled door shutters single panelled (Manufactured by M/s Rajshri or Qute or equivalent) 30mm thick or nearest size of approved section to suit the door openings with main frame, shutter frame and panels made out of extruded 5mm thick rigid PVC foam sheet mitered at corners and fixing the door main frame on the masonry wall surfaces with 100mm long screws, with PVC fasteners all as per manufacturer's specification and as directed at site , including all materials, labour, scaffolding, transport, fuel, tools, equipment, etc., complete NOTE: 1.The door shall be manufactured to suit the size of the existing opening available at site. 2. Supplying and fixing necessary fixtures like butt hinges, Aldrop, tower bolts, etc., will be paid under relevant items of this schedule.

14.Supplying, fabricating and placing in position of HSD TMT steel bars (Fe 415/500) conforming to IS 1786 for reinforcement of RCC members including handling, cutting, bending and tying with 1.25mm dia black annealed binding wire with existing reinforcement in sufficient lap all as per relevant specification and all as directed at site including reinforcement steel, binding wire and other materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, etc., complete. Note. 1.The rate shall be inclusive of cost of reinforcement steel, binding wire and fabrication charges etc.., complete. Binding wire will not be measured for payment purpose.

30.Providing and laying PVC pipes 25mm dia (conforming to ASTM D 1785 (Schedule 40 pipes) 10kgf/sqcm (Finolex or Truebore or Varun or equivalent) for concealed water supply lines, with necessary specials like tees, bends, couplings, elbows, reducers, unions, etc., including punching the masonry/concrete wherever required and making good the disturbed portions, joining the pipes using necessary adhesives, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding etc., complete.
