4. Earth work excavation in ordinary soil, sand, clay mixed with roots, boulders weighing individually less than 250Kg, debris, rubbish etc., as existing at site of work for all foundations and other such works upto 1.50m depth including dressing of sides ramming of bottom all as per relevant specification and as directed at site depositing the excavated earth within a lead of 50m for transportation/refilling including shoring, strutting, all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, fuel etc., complete.

5. Refilling with available excavated earth excluding boulders, debris etc., in the sides of footing/Ramp, etc., in layers not exceeding 200mm thick as per relevant specifications and as directed including consolidating the deposited earth in layers by watering and ramming, including all labour, material, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

6.Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 Crushed Stone sand : 8 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for levelling course of foundations of Footing/Ramp,etc and wherever required as per relevant specification and as directed at site including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, shuttering, curing etc., including all materials, labour, form work, tools, plants, equipments, fuel, etc., complete.

7.Filling with available excavated earth/debris from the dismantled concrete/brick work for providing ramp and wherever required to the required level, size and shape including levelling, consolidating by watering, ramming, all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site, including all labour, materials, tools, equipments, transporting, fuel, etc., complete.

8.Providing and laying Cement Concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 Crushed Stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for RCC Footing/pedestal coloum, etc., all as per relevant specifications and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc., including all materials, labour, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel, etc., complete. Note: Supplying, fabrication and placing of Steel reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

9. Providing and laying Cement Concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 Crushed Stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for RCC plinth beam etc., all as per relevant specifications and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc., all materials, labour, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel, etc., complete. Note: Supplying, fabrication and placing of Steel reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

10. Providing and laying Cement Concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 Crushed Stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for RCC Lintel etc., including finishing the exposed surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 (1cement :3 crushed stone sand) 6 to 10 mm thick all as per relevant specification and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc.,including all materials, labour, scaffolding, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel, etc., complete. Note: Supplying, fabrication and placing of Steel reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

11. Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 Crushed Stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for ramp / platform all as per relevant specification and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc.,including all materials, labour, scaffolding, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel, etc., complete.

12. Providing Brick Work using bricks of class designation 50 in Cement Mortar 1:5 (1cement :5 crushed stone sand) for walls up to first floor level,curing all as per relevant specifications and as directed at site, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, transport, fuel etc. complete

13.Preparing the surfaces of walls and plastering in cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 crushed stone sand), 12mm thick to the required finish, curing all as per relevant specfication and as directed, including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, scaffolding, etc., complete.

14. Preparing the surfaces of compound wall/exterior wall and applying two coats with ACE (Acrlic Co polimer emulsion) paint of approved colour and shade over a coat of primer to give an even shade all as directed at site of work including all labour, scaffolding, materials, tools, equipments, brushes, etc. complete.

15..Supplying and fixing Gear operated type (mechanical type) mild steel rolling shutters of approved make with crank handle including necessary locking arrangements etc., and shutters made up of MS laths of 1.20mm tk without joints in each strip shall machine rolled and straightened with an effective bridge depth of 12mm and interlocked together throughout entire length and shall have a distance of 75 mm rolling centres and joined together at the end withend locks and mounted on specified design pipe shaft having pulley, ball bearing and coil type springs. The spring manufactured from high tensile spring steel wire. The spring, pipe shaft etc., shall be supported with MS brackets and MS guide channels of size 3.15mm tk and depth 65/75 mm and all the arrangements should be fixed to the wall /column by means of screws to suit the existing clear width and height in good working condition including arrangements for inside and outside locking and providing M.S hood cover to the rolling shutters made out of 1.20mm tk M.S sheet including painting the shutter and hood cover with one coat of zinc chromate primer of approved colour and shade, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, Scaffolding, transport, fuel, etc., complete and all as per Chennai Port Trust civil Engineering manual and latest amendments. Note: For recording measurements the width shall be measured as the outer distance between the backs of the two guide channels of the rolling shutter and the height shall be distance between the sill and the centre of the hood cover.

16.Supplying, fabricating and fixing MS frames using MS angle of size 75x75x6mm or nearest size as available in the market to suit the site condition for providing Galvalume sunshade roofing including fixing on the wall with suitable fasteners/screws wherever required and painting with two coats of synthatic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as directed at site of work including all labour, tools, material, scaffolding, transporting, welding, gas cutter, equipments, fuel, etc., complete.

17.Providing and fixing colour coated Galvaluem metal sheet of 0.47mm thickness or nearest size of approved make for providing sunshade to the required size and fixing in proper position with necessary GI J/L bolts and nuts and other accessories all as per site condition and relevant specification and as directed at site of work including scaffolding all materials, labour, transport, fuel, safety accessories, tools, equipments etc., complete.

18.Preparing the surfaces of steel door/gate and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian/Berger/Dulux or equivalent) of approved colour over one coat of primer to give an even shade, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all materials, labour, scaffolding, brushes, tools, equipment, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient..

19.Preparing the surfaces of old wooden members and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (Asian/Berger/Dulux or equivalent) of approved colour to give an even shade, all as per relevant specification and as directed at site including all material, labour, brushes, tools, equipment, etc., complete. NOTE: 1. Necessary painting co-efficient shall be allowed as per Ch.P.T. engineering manual. 2. The above quantity is inclusive of painting co-efficient.

20. Dismantling and removing the existing damaged AC sheet roofing and providing and fixing of New Asbestos Cement Corrugated roofing sheets 6mm thick of approved make fixing in proper position with necessary G.I. L/J hooks of 10mm diadia(Galvanised coating of 70 to 80 microns) and nuts, G.I washers , bitumen washers with all accessories without damaging the nearby roof sheets all as specified including mitering corners and lapping at sides and ends of sheets on the wall to a depth not less than 15cm wherever required and as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. including conveying and dumping the dismantled sheets within a lead of 50m for transporting all as directed at site including all labour, tools, materials, safety accessories, etc., complete.

21. Supplying and fixing of Asbestos cement corrugated serated adjustable ridge to suit the corrugated roofing sheets of 6mm thick of approved fixing in proper position with necessary G.I. L/J hooks of 10mm dia(Galvanised coating of 70 to 80 microns) and nuts, G.I washers, bitumen washers wherever required without damaging the nearby roof sheets all as specified and as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, equipment, transport, fuel, safety accessories etc., complete.

22. Dismantling and removing the existing steel gate of size 6mx3.20m(approx.) and 4.50mx3.20m(approx.) at R & C Depot premises without damaging/disturbing the gate pillars and near by structures including cutting the gate all as directed at site and handing over the dismantled materials to the Trust’s Store anywhere within the Port premises including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, plants, transport, fuel, Gas cutter, scaffolding, etc., complete.

23.Supplying, Fabrication and fixing in position of MS steel gate of size 6mx3.20m(approx.) and 4.50mx3.20m(approx.) using steel members such as MS angle, MS flat, MS rod etc., as directed at site including one coat of red oxide primer all labour, tools, equipments, materials, transport, fuel, cutting welding, scaffolding, etc., complete. Note: The weighment of MS gate and accessories shall be done at site in the presence of Engineer's representative and cost of transport, weighment shall be borne by the contractor.

24. Supplying, fabricating and placing in position HYSD (Fe 415/500 grade) TMT steel bars confirming to IS 1786 for as reinforcement for all RCC works wherever required, including handling, cutting, bending and tying with 1.25mm dia black annealed steel binding wire including placing, all as per relevant specification and as directed, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel, etc., complete. Note:1.The rate shall be inclusive of cost of reinforcement steel, binding wire and fabrication charges etc., complete. Binding wire will not be measured for payment purpose. 2.The contractor will be allowed to use Fe500 Grade TMT steel bar without claiming any extra cost.

25. Loading, transporting the Debris, dumping and leveling in the low lying area within a lead of 1Km inside Port premises and as directed, including all labour, transport, tools, equipments, fuel, etc, complete. Note: 1. Tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in Trust’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of debris transported. 2. Payment will be based on the lorry cubical content. 3. No deduction of voids for debris will be made.
