Renewing flashing to protect the top edges of fire proofed works including removal of wornout flashes, raking, scraping the joints; providing non bituminous polysulphide or silicone rubber mastic sealant by cutting a U shaped groove 10 mm deep and 10mm wide in the fireprofing immediately adjacent to the junction including cost of all labour, materials and scaffolding for all heights etc. disposal of debris to the earmarked area within the Refinery premises complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & finishing with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of approved shade, brand and manufactuerer (two or more coats applied over and including base coat of water proofing cement paint applied as per manufacturers' specification) including providing applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour, cleaning and scaffolding, etc., complete for all heights.

Fireproofing vermiculite 2018-19-Group 2

Chipping and removing damaged fire proof works including surface cleaning of steel structural members, offering to inspection, disposal of the unserviceable material to spoil heaps anywhere within the Refinery boundary, metal mesh scrap to Scrap yard, scaffolding, labour, tools & tackles etc. all complete as specified and directed for all heights above plinth level.

Supply and laying of inorganic / vermiculite cementitious concrete coating (with UL 1709 certification under XR catergory) as fireproofing material around structural steel members (viz. beams, columns, bracings etc.) including carrying out the design for the coating thickness and getting the same reviewed by the owner, complete with supply and welding of MS nuts or other approved techniques, cleaning the steel surfaces, applying primer paint compatible with the already applied primer/paint; supplying, placing and fixing in position welded wire fabric reinforcement 3mm dia 50 x 50 (post weld hot dipped) galvanized mesh with Zn loading of approx 250 gm/m2 conforming to IS:1566 and tying the reinforcement to the nuts with 16 SWG tying wire, including straightening, cutting, bending, vibrating, tamping, curing or providing a layer of approved membrane of curing compound, rendering wherever required to achieve a smooth and even surface, providing chamfering at corners, supplying and laying non bituminous polysulphide or silicone rubber mastic sealant by cutting a U shaped groove 10 mm deep and 10mm wide in the fireprofing immediately adjacent to the junction for protection of top edges; including the cost of all labour, materials, shuttering, staging, scaffolding for all shapes and positions at all heights above plinth level etc. all complete as per EIL specifications 6-68-0033 (Rev-6) and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. All materials shall be supplied by the contractor.
