The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works, specifically "Civil Construction Works with experience in road construction", in the last seven years. The bidder should have completed works such as:
- Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost, - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The bidder should provide a list of similar works completed in the last 7 years, including details such as the agency for whom the work was executed, value of work, stipulated time of completion, and actual time of completion. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum average annual turnover of 50% of the estimated cost in the last three consecutive financial years. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The bidder should also provide certificates of work experience, performance certificates, and completion certificates, as well as a list of works in hand and details of technical and administrative personnel to be employed for the work. No specific amount for similar works is mentioned, but the bidder needs to provide financial information, including gross annual turnover on construction work, profit/loss, and certified financial statements for the last five years.
