Removal of sediments in wet condition or under water from Desilting Chamber through silt flushing tunnel by flushing the sediments with the help of water jet including collecting of garbage, trashes and stumps / twigs / branches of trees and bushes separately, so that the passage of hole of hopper which has to be used for flushing the sediments; could not be chocked including manual carriage and disposal of sediments from SFT to River etc if required. The item rate is including supply of all required delivery hose, installation of pump, fixing / laying of delivery hose, commissioning and operation of pump, maintenance and demobilization etc all complete for round the clock duty/two shift. (Submersible pumps, starters, electricity and repairing material for minor repair if required shall be provided on free of cost by NHPC Ltd, but, lighting arrangements in Desilting Chamber and SFT shall be arranged and borne by contractor at his own cost).

Manual excavation and removal of sediments in or under water from hopper including disposal of the same through the adjacent hopper (Which were to be brought alive by puncturing) by flushing. The disposal of sediments from silt flushing tunnel shall be washed away with the help of water jet including collecting of garbage, trashes and stumps / twigs / branches of trees and bushes separately, so that the passage of hole which has to be used for flushing the sediments could not be chocked. The excavation work is inclusive of manual carriage and disposal of sediments from SFT to River if SFT tunnel was chocked by sediments etc. The cost of supply of all required delivery hose, installation of pump, fixing / laying of delivery hose, commissioning, maintenance and demobilization etc is covered in item No.1; but, operation of pump in round the clock/two shift for flushing sediments is covered in this item (Submersible pumps, starters, electricity and repairing material for minor repair if required shall be provided on free of cost by NHPC Ltd. but lighting arrangements in Desilting chamber and SFT shall be arranged and borne by contractor at his own cost.
