The required prior work experience for the bidder involves completing similar works, which are defined as work related to supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Diesel Generator (DG) sets having a capacity of 900 KVA, 11 KV output voltage or above along with associated works for Railways/Highways tunnels. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The average annual contractual turnover of the bidder should be minimum, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, which is V/N or V, whichever is less, where 'V' is the advertised value of the tender and 'N' is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The bidder needs to submit a statement of similar nature of works executed/completed, and also provide details of their current commitments and completed works. Additionally, the bidder may be disqualified if they have records of poor performance during the last 7 financial years, such as abandoning work, rescinding of contract, or inordinate delays in completion of works.
