"RUIDP Technology – WWTP”
Design, supply, erection, installation, jointing, testing, trial run, commissioning and operation & Maintenance for 5 years, including Defect Liability period of one year, of prefabricated micro Sewage Treatment Plants based on RUIDP Technology for inlet parameters (pH-6.5-7.5; BOD5@ 20-degreeC - 300 mg/I; COD-650 mg/I; TSS - 600 mg/I; TKN-55 mg/I) and outlet parameters (pH - 6.5 - 9.0; BOD5@20 degree C - 10 mg/I; COD - = 50 mg/I; TSS - =20 mg/I; N-Total = 10 mg/I & Fecal Coliform - 100 MPN/100 ml) complete in all respect as per specifications and following components: -
(A) Integrated Pretreatment Unit (IPU): Comprising Coarse & Fine Screens and Grit Separator units. The fine screen - 2 Nos. (1W+1S) installed in sequence shall be made in SS-316 using flat bars of 3 mm thick, 50 mm wide and spacing of 5 mm, tear shape and dimensions of the bar screen as per design. The grit separation unit shall also be provided in SS -316 with interconnecting pipeline made of adequate dia. of HDPE PE-100 PN-6 as per IS 14333 (amended up to date), necessary fittings while maintaining the hydraulic levels with capacity of removing grease, oil and grit particles.
B) Primary Treatment Unit (PTU): Shallow settling unit consisting of stacked offset trays of Tubes of hexagonal chevron shape, assembled and installed within a Tank made of Mild Steel sheet conforming to IS 1730, 2004(latest version) of required thickness (not less than 5mm) & MS Angle (min. 8mm thick) frame conforming to IS 800, 2007 (latest version) with FRP lining from inside and epoxy corrosion resistance paint on the outer surface having dimensions as per standard design & drawing with necessary support elements for support of the Tube Deck Media. A conical section with adequate slope (1: 10) for sludge to settle and flow down into the sludge storage tank shall be provided. Detention time in PTU shall be minimum 45 min., angle of inclination of Tube Deck – 55 to 60 degree.
(C) Secondary cum Biological Treatment Unit: Secondary cum Biological Treatment Unit in Mild Steel sheet / plate of designed thickness (not less than 5mm) conforming to IS 1730, 2004 (latest version) & MS Angle (min 8mm thick) frame conforming to IS 800, 2007 (latest version) with FRP lining from inside and epoxy corrosion resistance paint on the outer surface having designed dimensions with baffled compartment or units in series including safety rails and walking platform etc. complete. The arrangement of bio reactor shall be divided in three zones (Aerobic, Anoxic and Anaerobic).

2. Middle Layer comprising of non-organic media support immobilized with aerobic bacteria. The media for support shall be alumina or ceramic based of cylindrical or spherical shapes with minimum 50% porosity to allow favorable bacteria for immobilization and colony formation. Total Depth of the middle layer shall be as per design with percentage fill of the media ranging between 35-50% depending on the hydraulic conductivity of the packed bed media column to cater to the peak flow. The average mean diameter of the media elements shall range between 5- 20 mm. The total depth shall be minimum 900 mm. Also supply and placing of approved non-organic media in three layers of required depth, with supporting arrangement and UPVC / FRP lined MS grating separator for media etc. complete as per direction of Engineer.
3. Bottom Most Layer: The media has infinitesimal shapes and a protected surface area of not less than 900 m2/m3. Comprising of thermosetting resin polymer media with infinitesimal shape. Minimum % fill of 35% and the Middle and Bottom layer shall be separated using retractable strainers made in UPVC or FRP lined MS grating for providing support for middle layer media the same support shall be provided for the bottom most layer. Manual Micro Screen 1mm (1W +1S) in SS-316 at the outlet of secondary unit.
(D) Tertiary Treatment Unit of Reed Bed (Vegetative Filter – Horizontal Flow Wetland): Design, supply and erection of precast concrete Reed Bed of required size and depth with partitions opening from top and bottom & gravel filter media packing to allow sinusoidal flow and planting / placing of hydrophyte plants of required quantity / number as per design & drawing. The tank shall have partitions opening from top and bottom in alternate arrangement to provide sinusoidal flow. A drain valve arrangement shall be provided to collect the wash out sludge during any maintenance event. Filter Media: - Filter media of required distribution and proportion to be filled in the Tertiary Treatment Unit (as per deign requirement to fill to the top water level), required hydrophytic plantation & impregnating inside the Tertiary Treatment Filter Bed. (Umbrella Palm & Caina Indica) Bio consortium media comprising of Bacillus sp, bacteriofaciens sp, Phosphatidis sp, Nitrobacter sp, and other Nutrient removing species in wetland systems.
Note:-The design norms and hydraulic detention calculation shall be as per the CPHEEO/ Ministry of Urban Development / US EPA technology document. The STP shall be designed as per the latest CPCB/MoEF Guidelines/ NGT order.

(F) UV Disinfection System: Design, supply and installation of required number of online UV disinfection system of required intensity & saturation rating of at least 60,000 uw sec / cm2 to achieve guaranteed fecal coliform in outlet less than 100MPN/100ml.
(G) Treated Waste Water Tank: Design, supply and installation of HDPE tank of required capacity for holding treated waste water for reuse in gardening, pavement / street washing etc. as specified in Rajasthan Sewerage Policy 2016.
(H) Sludge Dewatering System: Design, supply and installation of Mechanical Volute Screw Press of SS-316 of required capacity for sludge dewatering system and solid sludge converted to cakes and stored in bags. The unit shall be installed as per Vendor specification.
(I) Electro-Mechanical-Instrumentation System: Design, supply, installation, erection trail run etc. of duty conditions with piping arrangements as per design & drawing for continuous pumping all types of sewage from nearby manhole / sump to Integrated Pre Treatment Unit.
1. Integrated Pre-Treatment Unit: One no. of integrated PTU of required capacity and as per standard design & drawing for screening & grit separation. The unit shall be installed and erected as per Vendor specification.
2. Sludge Re-cycling / Transfer Pump: Two nos. (1W + 1S) Vertical Submersible non-clog, single stage, bottom suction type driven by single speed submersible motor of required duty conditions with piping arrangements as per design & drawing for pumping of sewage sludge from sludge storage tank for recirculation to pre-treatment unit and to mechanical dewatering system through piping network with timer switch operated motorized valve.
3. Sludge Dewatering Machine: One unit of required capacity as and as per design & drawing of Volute Type Screw Press of SS-316. The unit shall be installed and erected as per Vendor specification.
4. Supernatant Recycling Pump: Two nos. (1W + 1S) Vertical Submersible non-clog, single stage, bottom suction type driven by single speed submersible motor of required duty conditions with piping arrangements as per design & drawing for pumping and transfer of supernatant from Dewatering Unit to Integrated PTU.
5. Treated Effluent Pump: Two nos. (1W + 1S) Vertical Submersible non-clog, single stage, bottom suction type driven by single speed submersible motor of required duty conditions with piping arrangements as per design & drawing for pumping of treated effluent / wastewater to Drip Irrigation for gardening / horticulture or to pavement / street washing system etc.

(J) Pipelines & Valves: All pipelines for the WWTP shall be of HDPE PE100 & PN6 grade as per IS 14333:2022 (with latest amendment) of required size and length and all Valves made of CI/DI, either motorized or normal of required size as per design & drawing.
(K) Electrical Units: Design, supply and installation complete in all respect - Source of Power preferably from existing nearby power supply point equipped with 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire power supply to meet up the WWTP requirement by establishment of electrical system to cater needs of various process units and other requirements. Following electrical & Instrumentation equipment are envisaged ,– LV Switchboards, Starters, Solar Panels, Cables, Cable Trays, Lighting, Earthing, PLC, Effulent Quality Monitoring Instruments (OCEMS) at Outlet as per CPCB / SPCB norms etc. Sludge Valves and Pumps shall be automated with micro PLC and shall have 10 DI, 3 DO and 5 nos. of AI and programmed in manufacture’s Workshop.
(L) Solar Power System: Design, Supply, Fabrication, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solar Power Unit, MNRE approved of required capacity including all electrical, peripheral and mounting accessories etc. complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer.
(M) Camouflaging with Fiber Sheets: The camouflaging of the MS (Mild Steel) sheet unit involving the concealment of this unit (pre-fab units) with specialized camouflaging sheets as per the project-specific requirements. The process includes precise installation of the camouflaging sheets, and maintenance to ensure the longevity of the camouflaging with safety and environmental regulations.
(N) Pavement across the WWTP Campus for access with M30 interlocking tiles minimum width 1000 mm width.
(O) Operation & Maintenance: Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) with specific tasks:
Backwashing: Regular backwashing of filtration systems to remove accumulated solids and maintain their efficiency.
Media Replacement (Bio Reactor and Reed Bed): Scheduled replacement of media in the bio reactor and reed bed as required, typically every three weeks, to ensure proper wastewater treatment.
Media Maintenance: Routine inspection and maintenance of media in bio reactor and reed bed, including cleaning, aeration, and adjustments to maintain performance.
Electromechanical Item Maintenance: Comprehensive maintenance of all electromechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, control systems, and instrumentation. This covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Disposal of Sludge: Proper handling and disposal of sludge generated during the treatment process, adhering to all environmental regulations.
