By Mix in Place Method Grading-III

Providing, laying and spreading and compacting specified graded crushed stone in sub-base course including premixing the Material at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug mill), carriage of mixed Material, laying in uniform layers with Motor Grader, F.E. Loader, on a prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Compactor to achieve the desired density including all Material, labour, machinery, lighting barricading and maintenance of Driversion complete. (MoRTH specification clause 401). with all lead & lift

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400-12 & 400-13 and MoRTH Specification Clause 406. By Mechanical Means with all lift and lead.

Providing and applying primer coat over prepared surface of granular base with bitumen emulsion as per IS:8887 & manufacturer‟s specifications @6 kg/10 sqm with a self propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer equipped for spraying the Material uniformly at specified rates and temperatures (including cleaning of road surface) as per MoRTH specification : Cl. 502, 112 (a) Add extra to above item per kg extra in emulsion per 10 sqm (For 8.5Kg/Sqm)

Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, with bitumen emulsion as per IS:8887 & manufacturer‟s specifications @0.2 kg/sqm with a self propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer equipped for spraying the Material uniformly at specified rates and temperatures (including cleaning of road surface) as per MoRTH specification Cl. 502, 112. (a) Add extra for above item per 0.1 kg extra in emulsion per sqm (For 0.275Kg/Sqm)

Providing and laying open graded premix carpet 20mm thick (compacted), on prepared surface in a single course as wearing course, composed of specified graded crushed aggregates as per Table 500-23, heating bituminous binder @ 14.6 kg/10 sqm and aggregates in Hot Mix Plant (including cost of anti-stripping compound, wherever required), transporting the mixed Material with tipper and laying with paver finisher to the required level and grade, rolling with power roller, 8-10 tonne, but excluding cost of tack coat and seal coat with all lead and lift for mix of Material (MoRTH specification : clause 510, 112) In Hot Mix Plant 40-60 TPH, including loading of aggregates with F.E. loader bitumen VG30 grade

Providing and applying Premixed Seal Coat type “B” comprising of thin application of fine aggregate (0.06 cum per 10 sqm) premix with (6.8 kg per 10 sqm) bitumen binder (including cost of anti-stripping compound, wherever required) in mini hot mix plant 6-10 TPH, and laying with paver finisher and rolling with power roller 8-10 tonne, including all lead of mix Material (MoRTH specification : clause 511). Bitumen VG30 grade

Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete pipes NP-3 for culverts including jointing ends and fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2. (MoRTH specification : clause 1000/2900)

Dismantling of cement concrete pavement by mechanical means using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock pilling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled Materials upto a lead of 1000 mtrs. stacking serviceable and unserviceable Materials separately. (MoRTH specification : Clause 202)

PART-B CC Pavement

Dry lean cement concrete sub - base. Construction of dry lean cement concrete 1:3:6 sub-base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blening to be as per Table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 200 Kg/Cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing.

Providing and Laying un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub-base with 43 grade cement, coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, as per drawing and MoRTH Specification : Clause No. 602, 112. using curing compound and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and MoRD Specification Clause 1501 including vaccum dewatering process with all required equipments Using Cement concrete M-30 pavement Grade

PART-"C" Road Furniture

Retro-Reflectorised Traffic Signs Providing and fixing of retroreflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing 90 cm equilateral triangle

Direction and Place Identification Signs Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro- reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing

Raised Pavment Marker ( Cats Eyes): Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10- 97 – DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/ 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 700 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer‟s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The contractor shall submit 2 years pre qualified warranty certificate from the manufacturer for satisfactory field performance during the time of bid submission

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level,uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Supply of villege Name Board size 600x900 mm made out of 1.25 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly framed with 30mm Outer Dia Mild Steel tube tightened with M.S. flat 12x3 mm fixed on two posts of size 40 mm ODMS tube 3M long whole board is processed in blue/white stoving enamel paint and white/red machine cut reflective sheet complete in all respect posts duly painted with black/white synthetic enamel

Supply of flood gauge (water gauge) as per IRC 67 standard 200cm long fixed on angle iron posts 50×50×6mm 2.6m long

Fixing of flood gauge (water gauge) in cement concrete M-15 mix size 30×30×60cm complete including transporting excavation etc. complete.

Road Delineators Supplying and installation of delineators (road way indicators, hazard markers, object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming toIRC-79 and the drawings.

Providing and Erecting typical Citizens Information Board as per approved drawing & specification of MoRD, made of two MS Sheet of 1.6 mm thick each of size 900 mm × 750 mm stiffened by angle iron 25 mm ×25 mm × 3 mm all around the plate and plates fixed on frame of 75 mm dia pipe of 12 SWG sheet (vertical post 3050 m with angle holdfasts and horizontal member 900 mm) to be joined by 5 mm thick MS plate at 12 places (65 × 50 mm) duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade of block of 600 mm × 600 mm × 750 mm size below ground level as per enclosed drawings & as directed by Engineering - In-Charge. All MS will be stove enameled on both side, Lettering, figuring and border will be with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior superior quality quality in required required shade and colour etc. complete in all respect. All sections of framed post and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coat of epoxy paint as per drawing and as per MoRD specification.

Construction of Foundation / Inaugration Pedastal in 23 cm thick Brick masonry in CM 1:4 of size 1.20m x 1.80m above ground level with adequate foundation including providing and fixing of Granite stone of size 0.75m x0.90m with engraving letters and figures, cement plaster,white washing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in charge.
