Distressing of LWR/ CWR track 60 Kg/52 Kg /90R using rail tensor/manually as per the methodology given in LWR Manual, 1996 (with up to date corrections) with all labour and T & P of the contractorunder the supervision of competent railway official. Through Rail Renewal of BG running track 60Kg / 52 Kg / 90R on PSC Sleeper1540 /1660 nos per KM by 60Kg / 52 Kg Rails in panel up to 10/20 Rail panel by manually with contractors own tools and equipment as per IRPWM. This will include dismantling of existing Rail 60Kg / 52 Kg / 90R in SR/SWR /LWR including lead, loading, unloading and proper placing of released Rails upto a distance of 150m as per direction of Engineer-incharge, pulling/ pairing of Rails including leading of 10/20 Rail panel up to 150m, recoupment of missing / defective fitting and removing jammed ERC if required and greasing of ERCs etc. complete. All new/released fittings will be lead by contractor at his 5 own cost from SSE/JE(C) P.Way store or any other nominated suitable place to site of work and vice versa as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Nothing shall be paid extra forleading of new panels up to 150m. This will also include adjusting of sleepers at new joint of panel at the specified spacing, squaring of sleepers, aligning, surfacing and correcting cross levels, gauging, attention to sleepers at fish plated locations, repacking of joints sleepers and to achieve the desired track parameters and make gooddressing of disturbed ballast during laying of panels as a complete job. Note: (a) Fitting / fastening will be issuedfree of cost by Railway. (b) Leading of released Rails beyond 150m as per direction of Engineer-in charge shall bepaid separately under relevant items. (c ) Rail panels should be paired /pulled in such a way that no Rail joint ATor Flash butt lie on any PSC Sleeper. If there found any joint lying or touching PSC sleeper, The PSC sleepersshould be so spaced and adjusted that the joint does not fall on sleepers. In case the work is done in non runningline/ during mega traffic block.
