(vi) Necessary weekly off will be given to tradesman employed for this schedule as per existing rules and regulation of state /central govt. and necessary replacement will be provided by the contractor. Rates quoted for this schedule shall deemed to be included this provision.
(vii) In case absence of any tradesman / workmen from any shift will be penalized with a penalty of double the rate quoted by the contractor in addition to the shift not taken in to consideration for payment. Attendant / tradesman wanting leave will get it sanctioned before proceeding on leave along with the name of individual who will be performing his duty/shift in his absence. No replacement of tradesman/workmen without the knowledge of department will be allowed.
(viii) Safety equipment's, tools and first aid kit will be provided by contractor to all tradesman without any extra cost to government.
(ix)Log Sheet, Muster roll, attendance register shall be maintained by operator and get it signed by contractor, JE E/M and Engr-in-Charge on daily basis.
(x) The contractor shall closed the installation properly with lock and key before leaving the installation. Contractor shall be held responsible for any theft or loss at the installation. Contractor shall make sure to have everything in installation under lock and key.

Outsourcing of services for maintenance and operation of valves in each shift of 8 hours for two shifts of one day for water supply distribution system of Zone 1, 2 & 3 and ensured by valveman employed minimum overflow and wastage of water shall also be ensured while operating valves, any leakage or any break down found in the supply line shall be reported to the JE/Engr-in-Charge for timely repair/corrective and preventive action including providing suitable conveyance to operator for operating the valves complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes for Srl item Nos 1 to 5:
(i) The contractor shall quote the rate for deputing the tradesman and reliever arrangement as per labour laws.
(ii) PHO/FGM/Valve man shall be ITI qualified or having minimum three years of experience in maintenance and operation of water supply/DG Set/RO Plant/Chlorination plant etc. Qualification and experience certificates of the trdesman to be deployed shall be submitted by contractor for prior approval of Engr-in-Charge in writing.
(iii) Wage paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State/Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The payment shall be made to the workers through NEFT to adhaar linked bank account of M&O employees/ staff and the bank statement of fair wages as per minimum labour wages as mentioned above shall be submitted along with the RARs/FB for payments.
(iv) The contractor shall be responsible for the EPF, ESI, bonus, Safety etc as per existing Labour Rules/Acts/Regulations.
(v) Contractor special attention is invited that payment of tradesman / labour shall be made only through Account payee cheque/NEFT and same shall be deposited in Adhar link account of tradesman / labour. Documentary evidence for the same shall be submitted to Engineer -in-Charge before payment of RAR / Final bill.
