Note-Excavation,earth work,sand,brick and protection pipe shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L in repair supplying, laying, connecting and testing in trenches / under floors / roads or on walls for XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 120 sq. mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. Taking down copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for earthing with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600 mm & 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal GL) with top of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below Ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6 mm (up to 7.5 metre) by means of GI nuts, bolts & washers , earth strip protected with & including 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe (up to 7.5 metre) all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I, with & including PCC 1:3:6 type C1 for pit with cover of 50 mm thick RCC 1:1.5:3 type A1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 Kg per Sqm, watering arrangements with 20 mm GI medium grade pipe , GI funnel with GI mesh, filling with common salt & charcoal in alternate layers, necessary excavation and earth works in any type of soil, including test point, testing & commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. The insulation procedure shall be followed as per instruction of the earth electrode manufacturer. 2. GI pipe of suitable size for protection against mechanical damage of main earth strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 metre to be provided. The cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. GI strip & GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 metre shall be measured & paid separately. 3. If desired earth resistance is not obtained during testing ,the earthing shall be re-done with out any extra cost.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall, on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 4.0 mm dia GI wire complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down ceiling fan / exhaust fan any type including sealing cable end complete all as specified and directed.
