The eligibility requirements for a Joint Venture (JV) to participate in this tender are as follows: * The JV can be formed by a group of farmers/cooperatives/panchayats/Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO)/Water User associations (WUA) to develop solar plants through a developer.
* A farmer can also form a JV with a group of farmers/cooperatives/panchayats/Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO)/Water User associations (WUA) to install the REPP on his own land.
* The land lease agreement (bi-partite) should be signed with the farmer prior to setting up of the solar power plant, which can be done in a JV with a developer.
